Tabitha is one of the worst people in the world. Just a mean person who treats everyone like garbage. Lord help us if she wins.

No, that’s Carter “Dick” Hillstrom who should stop trying to be judge. Serious a-hole there..

I remember when he was Ana Gardiner’s intern, sitting back there giggling when Gardiner would deny motions.

The reason he is never seen in Court = reason he is putting in for judge (tired of relying on his wife’s SAO income for food).

p.s. he’s one of those who got Board Certified based on his “SAO” trial experience, and has to hide his trial record in case some day somebody is referred to him for a criminal case.

Better question is who Cohen likes …how did this guy become the judge picker? And why is every friend of his, employee, law partner etc. Getting judgeships? Anyone look into that?

Good lord, does Vanni have Mardi Levy Cohen Jingleheimerschmidt syndrome? How many times is she going to put her name in to the pot? Why doesn’t she cough up some $$ and run in a campaign and get it over with one way or the other? Geetzus….enough of her already!

As far as the rest……..I agree with another post – BREAK should win. Not anyone on this slate is so stellar that they’d be an asset to the bench.

Besides, why fill seats when most judges don’t work a full day/week as it is…..or they’re farming out their trials to other divisions so they can slack.

BROWARD JUDGES ARE WELL KNOWN FOR THEIR LAX SCHEDULES AND ABSOLUTELY NO OVERSIGHT
MANY STILL COMPLAIN THAT MORE JUDGES ARE NEEDED IN BROWARD DISPITE DOING LITTLE TO NOTHING
ITS THE BIGGEST JOKE IN TALLAHASSEE

THOSE FEW JUDGES THAT DO WORK ARE RIDICULED BY THE HOST OF OTHER JUDGE SLACKERS

THEY SEEM TO THINK THAT BECOMING A BROWARD JUDGE IS AN ENTITLEMENT TO DO AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE
THEREFORE COURTROOMS REMAIN EMPTY WHILE THEY CLAIM MORE JUDGES ARE NEEDED

AN AUDIT FROM TALLAHASSEE OF BROWARD JUDGES’ SCHEDULES WOULD CLEARLY SHOW THIS

BROWARD JUDGES SEEM TO THINK THAT BECOMING A JUDGE IS EARLY RETIREMENT WITH PERKS

DESTRY IS A FOOL TO THINK THAT ANYONE GIVES A RIP WHAT HE THINKS AND IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THE JUDICIAL HUBRIS THAT EXISTS ON THE BENCH IN BROWARD

HE BARELY MADE IT NINE YEARS ON THE BENCH BEFORE GOING DOWN IN FLAMES

HE WILL ONLY BE REMEMBERED AS POSSIBLY ONE OF THE DUMBEST, MOST ARROGANT AND POORLY PERFORMING JUDGES IN A LONG LIST OF INCOMPETENT JUDICIAL BUNGLERS IN BROWARD

Davis doesn’t have enough experience (though isn’t a bad attorney); Blackmon is a moron with no morals (prosecutor who got pregnant by her public defender). Hilstrom wouldn’t make a bad judge though I think with his experience he would be better suited for Circuit than County. Don’t know the rest so have no opinion except to say that any judge should have at least 10 years experience. At least.

Davis is a talented and engaging attorney who would bring intellect to a Broward County bench that is largely comprised of drunks, people whose Daddy got them the gig and half-wits that call people miss or sir when they can’t act like a grown up. He’d be a refreshing change.

Blackmon is a smart, tough, ethical prosecutor with a history of winning challenging cases. She has civil experience and Attorney General experience and is deeply involved in the community, particularly with minorities. She got pregnant BY a public defender, not HER public defender, and they were dating at the time and remain married and deeply involved in the community. The notion she has no morals is fake news nonsense that comes from someone who really should call their law firm “Anonymous” because that’s all they’ll ever be- irrelevant and weird AF.

Both would be welcome additions to the bench.

The stuff about Hillstrom in the post is reasonable. Proof even an anonymous troll finds a bridge to crawl out from under every now and then.

Apparently you dont know Tabitha very well if you think she has any morals, nor have you likely seen her in court if you think she is a good attorney. Ask anyone who has actually been in the courtroom as she bumbles through. Agree with the above about her. Also agree that Judges should have at least 10 years experience which is the only negative about Davis that was said above though you apparently took offense- perhaps you’re one of the kids desperately applying to be a judge. By the way, it’s funny that you are criticising someone for posting anonymously when you did the same as do 99% of the people who post on this blog.

Based on the reactions to the post about Blackmon’s morals, I’d say you’re used to taking Losses. Maybe you’ve taken a few to her in your day. Or maybe you’re just another Broward plea factory defense attorney afraid of picking six. Either way, sounds like the public reading this blog is mostly filtering out your snowflake takes and leaving them with you on Planet Clown.

Resorting to name calling and whining because someone disagrees with you about one candidate, you must be one of those south florida snowflake liberals.
