Rodriguez is at this point has become pathetic in his pandering methods. He wears it on his face like a badge of honor. All to be a Broward judge. This is one plug-in that needs to be un-plugged. He could easily be beat.

Some Cubans ‘feel sick’ over Trump’s new Cuba policy. Although some who live in luxury in the U.S. using their Chinese made Iphones (Hello remember human right issues in China?)

VANA — Juan Alberto Menendez vividly recalls feeling elated that December day in 2014 when President Barack Obama announced that the United States and Cuba would end a half century of estrangement.

On Friday, the construction worker, 59, said, “I feel sick” upon hearing of President Trump’s speech that he would roll back many of the ties between the two countries.

“What Obama did for us was marvelous. I will always thank that man,” said Menendez, who saw the former president’s move as a glimmer of hope after five decades toiling away in his island nation. “But this? This is illogical. He’s closing us off again. The United States needs a president with ideas of freedom and openness to the world, not this.”

eaking before a supportive crowd of Cuban-Americans in Miami, Trump said he was rolling back Obama- era ties because it led to too many U.S. travelers and businesses delivering cash right into the hands of the Cuban government. Trump said Americans were staying in government-run hotels, eating in government-run restaurants and not delivering any benefit to the impoverished people of the island.

Dervis Diaz, 43, disagrees. The Havana native drives visitors around in a red, 1957 Dodge Coronet, and he said the rush of Americans to Cuba over the past 2 ½ years has helped him and his family, as well as friends who rent out their homes to visitors.

Diaz acknowledged that the Cuban government still hasn’t made all the changes demanded by Trump, such as releasing all political prisoners and changing its economic and political systems. But Diaz said its unfair to punish regular Cubans like him just because the government hasn’t completely bowed to U.S. demands.

“The opening has helped our economy tremendously,” said Diaz. “But it’s impossible for everything to change the way they want in just two years.”

Elio Hidalgo Riveron takes a more historical approach when trying to understand Trump’s sudden change. During his speech, Trump rattled off a series of horrendous acts committed by the Castro brothers, going back to the firing squads employed during their revolution in the 1950s and the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.

Riveron, 57, a sociologist who lived in Europe and Africa before returning to his native Cuba, said Trump needed to go back even farther to find an equivalent for his Cuba policy.

“He’s taking America back to the 1920s,” Riveron said, referring to the country’s policy of isolation following World War I. “We see it happening now with the United Kingdom pulling out of the European Union. We see Trump doing it with your country. It’s wrong. It’s sad.”

Nina needed 350k and barley won due to husbands association with Trump. This picture would tell a thousand words to the voters of Broward County. Broward Dems are not going to buy being at this event was not in support of Trump but in support of a free Cuba.

It will also be interesting when Marina has to explain to the voters why she is running under the name Wood when she is long divorced from Mr. Wood and has been married for a while now to Judge Rodriguez. Hard to justify it is anything other than voter manipulation.

Then there is Tutor, I doubt he is done with moving people yet. He will provide her no cover in an election.

Marina and Izzy, the dump Trump Judges slate is formed

If Giant Wooden Cock had been a cabinet adviser to the President instead of merely being a deep sea explorer under JFK, Castro would have been out in 1961.

What kind of man, especially a proud Latin man, would allow his wife to remain using her long divorced husbands name?

This Cuban Crap is relevant how ? Remember the boat lift when all that island’s reprobate was dumped in south Florida? Now we’ve got these creeps on the bench shaking their tambourines and adding to the political corruption of Broward’s hopelessly corrupt judiciary.
You won’t catch me crying for this group of handouts. There are a lot of reasons that revolution succeeded not the least of which was corruption.

So your basically just a racist? Does it offend you that there are any non-white judges or only the Cuban ones offend you?

      3

Racist, are you? Is it only towards Cubans or blacks as well? I would bet that Rodriguez is more patriotic to this country than you racist Arse.

Marina is just a political hack and as dumb as they come. We call her Moronica and that’s on a smart day.
Wouldn’t be broken hearted to see her knocked off her pedestal and replaced with a judge that can actually use his or her head once in a while.

Izzy’s gonna have a hard go of it. Diaz is always there to mentor his little friend. That will insure his defeat at the polls.

May not have to. Looks like a walking squaking potential heart attack. One schlep that’s skated by against all the odds and added nothing to the of quality of the Broward Bench.

Hold on a second. They may have agreed to not have him speak publicly for Izquierdo. As a matter of fact it may be certainly prudent to not have a new Judge (and a higher ranking one) robed by someone who carries the stink of JNC sanctions around with him for life. Besides Judge Usan gave a moving introduction and Usan is not a junior Judge to Izquierdo because they are both Circuit Judges. As a matter of fact then I wouldn’t be so quick to judge Judge Diaz for not speaking out for Izquierdo at his robe ceremony.

It is well known that Diaz has been critical of the Latina Judges who got elected by refusing to use their Spanish surnames, i.e. Marina G. ( hold the Garcia) Wood? I wonder how he felt when Izzy picked the ultimate slice of Wonder Bread to introduce him at the Robing.?

Ouch, Joseph “Joe” Izquierdo ( learned from Robert “Bob” Diaz) was in the foxhole for Bobby D and I don’t even remember a mere mention or thanks to Diaz by anyone at the robing. Let the “white” washing commence.

Wasn’t Garcia-Wood a good pal of Ana Banana? lol
At least she was smart enough not to fall into the same vice as The Banana. I don’t think she testified on her behalf of the JQC INQUIRY and eventual dump of Gardiner from the bench either.

Carlos and Marina each January host a “non partisan, non political” 3 Kings party at the PBA Hall where it is a coincidence most of the condo commandos and dem club presidents just happen to be invited. I am sure they will not be disturbed by Carlos and Marina’s association with Trump since they got to go to the party with free arroz con pollo and plantains. Then again, many of these same people always supported incumbent judges no matter what but refused to support Nina due to Trump

Nina wouldn’t have even got it if it hadn’t been for Lit’l Howie’s letter to Scott trashing her. Shows what he thinks of The Fink.

Judge Garcia-Wood has been doing the 3 Kings party long before Carlos came into the picture.

Sounds like someone never accepted the OPEN invitation that everyone else had the option of going or not.

What has any other judge done for any type of togetherness for everyone………..except run for judge?

The plan is in place, in order to really have Gordon’s back in 2020. Odom at TJ and Ellison at NAACP know they need to get the whites in Broward comfortable electing blacks in Countywide. Also, they need to finally corral their own into supporting black candidates without exception. Judge Barner didn’t get the love from the black community until after she won her primary. TJ and NAACP know the only ones below them on the political food chain in Broward are the Hispanics. No doubt they have candidates lined up for all Hispanic Judges on the ballot in 18. Especially the ones with ties to Trump that can be exposed.

The hispanics will have to devote all of their money and effort to protecting their own. They do have the voting or the volunteer base to cover their sitting Judges and mount an offensive against any black judges in retaliation.

Keen an eye on Ms. Ellison and Mr. Odom

TJ Reddick couldn’t organize their way out if a wet paper bag. They’re too busy stabbing each other in the backs. Talk about a bunch of greasers.

All they have to do is raise the filing fee to run someone against Izzy and Garcia-Wood. The word about their Trump ties will spread and take them down.

Rodriguez is an easy win too. Looks like the worm at the bottom of a tequila bottle and about equally as smart.

It’s going to be a free for all in the upcoming Judicial Elections. Bet on it. The old snakes will be replaced by a bunch of new ones with different stripes. Doesn’t look good for incumbents. Broward could use some new juice. The old slackers are looking over their shoulders about now and Gomorrah’s getting a new lease on life. The best thing that could happen.
