With a couple exceptions this a wholly undistinguished list. It’s time to raise judicial salary to attract better candidates.

      ?

The list of potentials is as distinguished as a judiciary corroded by decades of nepotism, unaccountability and incompetence.

Bob Nichols, Haccord Curry, Doreen Inkeles, Brad Peterson, Abbe Rifkin, and Russell Thompson have all run for judge and lost. Rejected by the voters they should be rejected by the JNC.
PS — Nichols and Thompson have run twice and lost and Sokoloff has run 4 times and lost.

Re: Sokoloff, according to Dean Wormer, “fat, lazy, stupid, and drunk is no way to go through life.” Words she should live by.

All judicial salaries should be cut drastically. Most of these pimps with their hands out want to be judges because it represents a considerable raise in salary. Nobody is kidding anybody. They like to tout it as public service. Drop Judicial salaries and watch the numbers of applicants drop as well.

Come on man, you keep creeping on here like a troll pushing your copycat site.
Ok, we get it – you have a site, too.

      1. 5

        0

I agree stay on your own site
you send the same email EVERYDAY
        I read the complaint….so what!
You have a disgruntled litigant in family court
so a judge reversed an order…. SO WHAT
you predict his career is over
spoken like a true NON LAWYER
the only thing that is OVER is you and your BORING site
stop trying to take Bill’s loyal following

        1. 1

          4

Spoken like a true shark. First:
Don’t put words in our mouths.
We did not predict his career was over.

We said: “If the JQC ends up filing formal charges from the new allegations, his career is over”
          You disagree with that statement?

          You said:
“you send the same email EVERYDAY.”
We only posted the story on Monday. We noticed here to let people know what was coming, but only a few times on another thread then this new one.

You ever think of anyone but yourself?
There are LAWYERS that have to go in front of him, they might want to know. JQC complains, as you know are kept confidential until formal charges are filed.
So, where else would they find this out from.

You said: “You have a disgruntled litigant in family court
so a judge reversed an order…. SO WHAT”.

SO WHAT? Tell her that. Because this judge acted like a fool, she had to spend a couple thousand dollars on a lawyer to undo his mess. SO WHAT!

          your BORING site:
You read one article and call it boring?
Google south florida corruption, then add another keyword like police, judicial, public, and you’ll find us at the top of page one.

You don’t get there by being boring. The reason we are on the first page is very simple. People are searching for that subject and our site is a wealth of info on that.

“stop trying to take Bill’s loyal following”

What? This is a blog, know what that means?
Bill posts a current event in the court and lets anyone comment on it. So what following?

This author has personally been coming and posting on this blog since 2009. Not as South Florida Corruption as we only started the site 8 months ago.

If you want a private club start one. Oh, but then you would have to reveal who you are.
In the 8 months of posting, most here treat us with respect, and us the same back.

          Only a couple like you.
With your SO WHAT attitude, why don’t you throw your hat into the judicial circus in Broward.

Sounds like you would fit in with the other clowns.
Bill seams to love free speech. Try asking him to ban us, see what happens.

          1. 1

            2

I personally find your postings on this blogsite to be most informative. Judges should be exposed when they don’t do what they are supposed to do. They are being paid by taxpayers of this state and are to be held accountable.
The expression of Free Speech is imperative if this aim is to be achieved.
Broward judges in particular should be scrutinized closely, for as has been seen repeatedly in the past few years, there are many who are undeserving to be sitting in judgement of others.

I had the pleasure of going to trial against Mariya Weekes and even though I lost I must admit she is the only bright star at that office and she would be an excellent judge for all sides

Yael Gamms already possesses the inflated sense of self-importance and haughty airs necessary to be a first class Broward bench bimbo. Its not about quality. Its quantity.

      1. 3

        2

Yale Gamm sure has a set of humongous gamms on her. You’d think a chick that’s as driven as her would want to work on those before she starts lookin as big as a double-wide trailer. Lol.
Don’t think very much of her phoney tude. Even less of her legal ability.
Girls in the school I used to go to liked to pretend they were something they weren’t all the time.
        It was no big deal.
Glad to be back folks! I see I’ve got some catching up to do before the courthouse is overtaken by these bimbos !

Tom Coleman is a sex pervert magnet! First he works side by side with Michelle Boutros and covers for her lies and when JD grants motion for reconsideration they threaten defendants Atty if they embarrass them. Shoot they ?are already an embarrassment! Boutros cop husband ala Humedin ex Jeffrey Weiner sends movies of him whipping his mulette to a victim and tries to justify it by saying it was intended for Michelle and dshe supported that! And collects our taxes as a salary while looking for texts like that? Then the Coleman’s sidle up to Palm Beach nbillionaire Jeffrey Epstein and accept his blood money after raping or sexually. Assaulting 40-70 underage girls as young as 13!Pls JNC MEMBERS READ JAMES PATTERSONS NON FICTION ACCOUNT OF COLEMANS FRIEND AND MEAL TIX. FILTHY RICH WILL SICKEN YOU! TOM IS A LAZY CORRUPT LYIN BUFFOON! Send him packing once and for all to where he would have already met his peter principal, para legal to either Fred or Gonna. Lol

Three quarters of these jokers remain the victims of the fallacy of hope judging by how many times they’ve submitted themselves to this farce. The torpid tradition in Broward of government suckers having no more ingenuity than to seek judicial appointments because they can’t make a living doing anything else continue to insure that the poor quality of judges will remain the same.
It it weren’t so unfortunate it would be comical.

  7. 0

    1

    Tom Coleman?

It would’ve been Judge Coleman a while ago had he not F’d up his JNC interview! What an idiot. Let’s hope they don’t remember your responses from last time.

    1. 0

      0

Probably because he’s so stupid he couldn’t find the interview room where they were being held. The guy’s been in a perpetual state of shell shock since he fell off the back of a golf cart way back. Just what we need sitting on the bench, another one with the smarts of a hamster that’s been dropped from a 4 story building.

  8. 7

    1

JNC interviewer: what makes you a good addition to the bench?
Strauss: well I’m the government of course.
JNC: yes but what qualities or qualifications do you possess that make you suited to be a judge Mr. Strauss?
    Strauss: call me the government
JNC: we’re running out of time someone else
JNC #2: ok so how do you respond to some that say you can’t be unbiased or neutral and use the example that you refer to yourself as the government?
Strauss: thank you for calling me the government. I don’t understand the question. What’s the question?

Tony Loe hadn’t tried a case in ten years but is in his third straight trial sitting with a lead prosecutor on a division case. For some reason also eat lunch together. Tony’s secretary gets them both lunch at the same time. Daily. Totally normal. 40 year age difference. Way more fun topic. Let’s talk about this instead.

  10. 9

    0

Yes. I’ve seen Loe in trial with her. They’re together all the time. Even when not in trial you’ll see them together in court or some hallway. Gross.

    1. 3

      0

Nothing to worry about. Loe’s old enough to her grandpappy. Pappy’s just flattering himself. His swimming days are long gone. He just treads water now. More like paddling now ! Lol

      1. 5

        0

Yeah but who’s doing his job while he’s doing hers? Not that his job should exist or that anyone in the SAO thinks he should either…

        1. 5

          0

Failure in private practice with Bailey and his return to the SA’s office was also a return to the skating rink ! Lol. Nothing new… half the office is filled with skaters. Same with the PDs office. That’s government work for you ! Higher pay, benefits and a small pension beat slugging it out in the real world.

      1. 3

        0

Don’t make me laugh ! How Low can you Go Loe has one foot stuck in the tar pit ! Back for a second try from private practice, he’s just sucking at the public trough and riding it out. A devoted family man and government tit sucker, he barely has the energy to crawl out of bed to get to work. Claiming as one of his cases some bimbo’s case, it’s just a statistical smoke screen ! Give the guy a break.

  11. 2

    1

Not Rifkin again ! Is she being run out of Dade or something? These tired old worn out prosecutor hags always ogle these judgeships like they’re making their final reservation at some graveyard.
All we need is another old burnout with all the other refuse we’ve got sitting on the bench in Broward as it is. Although some new bimbos seem to be making some headway. Lol

  12. 1

    2

Scott Strauss wants to be a judge, lol. Disturbing, very disturbing. Not sure why the Broward SAO has a crazy dude working for them anyway. He is a major liability. After what he pulled in his most recent trial, you start to question whether SAO should require a mental health evaluation as a condition to applying for a position with the office. He is so clueless and thinks that he can actually be a judge.

how does Maury Halperin still receive cases off of the SPD wheel (listed on 10 categories), but yet he is currently employed by the Regional Conflict Office (getting $50k/year salary) ??

OCCRC: Judge, our office has to withdraw, due to conflict.

Court: Ok, let me appoint conflict-free counsel from the wheel: Maury Halperin, SPD

Maury: Hi, Judge – I just came over here from my office space over at the OCCRC (yes, he even has his own designated office space there).

Most attorneys know they are required to stop receiving cases off the wheel if they begin working for OCCRC. But then again, not all attorneys have common sense.

    new PD

    Options, so say the rumors:

    Gordon Weeks
    Hilard Molodof
    retired judge Lynch
    Josh Rydell
    Johnny Mccray
    Lea Krause

    You pick your future Broward

Only ones from that group who deserve it are: Moldoff, McCray, ….

Krauss just keeps looking for her govt. job ticket, Lynch needs to stay in retirement (too much trough sucking), Gordon is current administration pick – and chooses to have no case load himself (more the same bs), and Rydell with his self claimed “my NJ attitude” should never have thought he could be PD, too arrogant and much disliked.

    2. 4

      0

It won’t be Weeks. The backlash to Litl Howie will insure that. Weeks will finally have to work for a living in 20.
Krause could grab it if McCray doesnt want it.
Lynch wouldn’t risk losing a contested race and would lose it.
And then you have Moldof … LOL

      1. 4

        0

You mean he’s not a blowhard like Howie who doesn’t stand for anything but self promotion? Imagine a real Public Defender with supervisors that actually have a caseload ? You mean that kind of Public Defender ?

        1. 4

          0

Yes, we think he would be great there.
He’s been practicing for something like almost 40 yrs. now?

          His campaign slogan could be:
          Johnny be good for Broward.

Be a good way to go before retiring.
Then maybe they could get some supervisors that actually know what their doing and show up for work.

Maybe it’s a good thing they don’t return calls and answer questions.

Howard and his supervisors are just flat-out stealing from the citizens of Broward.

If someone from the PD’s office would send us the names, type of vehicles and tag# of some of these supervisors, we’ll check into what they are really doing all day.

          https://southfloridacorruption.com/blog/anonymous-tips/

As for Howard, when he’s not a WSVN, he can be found at The Sunrise Country Club playing golf.

Not that Help Me Howard doesn’t do a good public service, problem is you work for Broward County Howard!

Get to work and earn your salary.

          1. 3

            0

Check out the PD supervisor’s assigned parking spots. They are empty almost all the time. Their offices are almost always empty and they are not handling any cases. So what are they doing? Several of the supervisors are teachers at FAU so have second jobs. Check it out yourself. All this while making over a hundred thousand and some of them are back for a second time and are double dipping. They are really working the system but that’s the only work you’ll see them doing. All this needs to be exposed. And what’s Howard Finkelstein doing about any of it? Nothing. You won’t find him anywhere either.

            1. 2

              0

We know the lot’s empty, what we need are some names.

Since they work for the County, their personal files should be public info and should have their employment contract in them to see if anything in that prohibits that.

Does anyone know if anything in the county charter would prohibit that?

Need names to find out anything.

Told you where to find Howard, Sunrise Country Club.

Baby Lynch is a pipsqueak who can only hide among the circling of the wagons of other Broward judges for a short while. Those wagons are scattering faster all the time. He’d be easy to beat with the right candidate. Very easy pickings.

I nominate maury halperin for PD

That way, he can also be PD while also working at OCCRC, and also have his name on all the SPD wheels

In Broward County, a criminal judge asked to be reassigned after saying an attempted murder case was “NHI” — an acronym for “no humans involved.” The defendant, victim and all of the witnesses were black.

But such examples of overt racism in Florida are rare.

Heard the little man sprung for karaoke and a photo booth for his lame holiday party this year. AND raises went out too. Yeehaw! With the over $1,000,000 in salaries from everyone that left in 2016 (record numbers), you’d think the minimum raise would be at least $5,000. Hope everyone who baked the cake got to eat the cake. Lmao

Roscoe J. Freespeecherman (RJF) is an “attorney” who represented a defendant as an spd. After the defendant entered a plea and was sentenced, he filed a 3.850 motion alleging misrepresentations/dishonesty by RJF. The judge granted a hearing and the state called RJF as a witness to rebut the defendant’s allegations. RJF testified for the state, but was less than thrilled when cross-examined and exposed by Maury Halperin. So now RJF wants to lecture Maury about common sense and ethics in this forum.
RJF happens to be the same “lawyer” who entered a guilty plea to violating, among other rules, Rule 3-4.3(“The commission by a lawyer of an act that is unlawful or contrary to honesty and justice…”) and Rule 4-8.2(a)(“A lawyer shall not make a statement that the lawyer knows to be false or with reckless disregard as to its truth or falsity…”), agreed to pay $1,250.00 in costs, and was reprimanded.
RJF may question Maury’s common sense. But the real questions that need to be asked are: 1. How is it that a “lawyer” who entered a guilty plea to these violations can have his name on 13 spd lists? and 2. Why does the JAC sign a contract with, and agrees to pay state funds to a “lawyer” who entered a guilty plea to violating these rules?

    1. 4

      1

      Well Roscoe
did you leave out the part where the judge found your representation to be deficient and granted the 3.850?
Mmaury merely pointed out what a crappy lawyer you were
that would be his job Sir !

      1. 4

        1

I know which lawyer you are referring to Maury, so I called him up – turns out YOU are lying Maury, motion was Denied and you were embarrassed in Court (as if you ever really had any credibility to begin with !! ). Also, you better hope your double-dipping on conflict cases is ethically sound, Maury – I think you messed with the wrong lawyer bud.

Here’s the link to the case, motion Denied, not granted – you’ve been caught, Maury – now get back in your hole! (I even ready the transcript on the Clerk’s site, the attorney in question even told YOU to “get away from my witness stand and go back to the podium” Ouch.

Does anyone know where I can drop off Imperato’s annual box of wine Christmas gift? I got a twofer last year December at Kmart but I don’t know where to drop off the 2nd box this year since she’s not in the courthouse no more. It’s been in the garage all year because even my high school aged kids and their buddies wouldn’t drink it. I don’t want it going to waste so a forwarding address would be appreciated. Merry Christmas.

Gulkin Winner George Reres double dips, too! RCC and the SPD wheel. And he will take a felony case for 500. What is going on at regional? Does Melissa ever know what’s going on there?

  20. 6

    0

yeah, the more I think about it – there’s really no way it is not a conflict to be paid for / employed by RCC, and still take cases off the conflict wheel. I mean, it would be like an assistant PD being on the conflict wheel. How’s it any different?!

  21. 3

    2

that is one sour attorney attacking Maury who doesn’t bother anyone in the courthouse. This blog has turned into 3 people talking to each other. One being from an entirely different and irrelevant blog.

Its almost laughable what this has become. If anyone in Broward does anything, the rest of the losers come out of the woodwork to give their 2 cents. Brian Silber wins a case and he gets made fun of, Schwartzreich does something and he gets and fun of…its dumb. Now I agree Johnny Weeks would make a great PD if he leaves private practice. So we can agree on that

  22. 1

    0

I don’t know, I appreciate it being made known that an attorney is pulling down cases from the conflict wheel, while also working for Regional.

There are those who probably never applied for the part time positions at Regional because they thought they’d have to trade off Registry cases…

    1. 1

      0

Uh, of course that ‘old attorney’ is on the wheel – how else would he get paid?

If by ‘old attorney’ you are referring to that one who looks to be in his 70s, maybe 80s…yes he is on the wheel. Often gets cases.

To the poster above, Adele did this trick one time where she made up a fake fact and told one of her supposed friends, then when the story leaked she knew who let it out.

No one gets my piss. I give taste tests instead.

A bunch of lawyers have their 4th. taken away w/o PC?
What chance does a member of the public have, if the lawyers are treated as suspected drug addicts.

The lawyers deserve to be treated better. But then, they don’t fight anymore. They just bend over for authority figures, no questions asked.

What’s a grandfather to do? My lazy ass son in law, tom coleman is drinking coffee in the cafeteria at 9:30 playing with his I phone ( hope he is not watching former partner Michelle Boutros” husband pounding his pud again lol) while everyone else is either in court or their office working to EARN THEIR KEEP! There were a total of 4 people in the cafeteria, WHAT MAKES HIM FEEL HE’S SO SPECIAL? My political juice can”t even get him a raise! OVEY or is it INSHALLAH?
