They care about keeping the job since it’s the only place that would hire them and why they won’t buck their marching orders to say no to everything even when it’s cruel.

Germs don’t discriminate between the law-breaking and law-abiding. Cops, guards, nurses, clerks, etc. have to share space and interact with those perps.

I have an idea!!!!!!! STOP COMMITTING CRIMES.

NO ONES CARES ABOUT THE CRIMINALS GETTING COVID-19 IN JAIL.

Lots of the criminals in jail bond out or get released, free to infect the public. Other people besides criminals have to go in and out of the jail as part of their jobs. When they leave, whatever they pick up in the jail will get passed around the outside.

I suppose it’s what you call a good man. That putz was so consumed with his sense of self-importance and bullchit he blew himself right out of a job. Just a bellicose blowhard. The best thing to happen really. Now he’ll have to kiss azz to keep his new one and actually show up to work.

I hope Dennis the Lawyer doesn’t run into any asshole Judges when he’s in court trying to get a good result for his clients. It makes things so needlessly more difficult when the job is already hard enough to get done.

He showed up on time. That counts for something. The ones that show up late should be removed. They’re the ones that typically couldn’t make a dime in the real world. Showing up late is the same reason they couldn’t make it in a competitive environment. They have terrible work ethics, are apathetic, have no drive, are inconsiderate of others, or plain miserable people who can’t get out of their bed of sorrow in the morning. The same qualities that made them have to seek government work to earn a decent paycheck don’t disappear when they get on the bench. It only gets worse.

Yup. He was a complete jerk on most days but no one can say he didn’t work hard. Always in trial and always on time.

You got room for one more former government gopher, Dennis ? It’ll be like the old days.

“Can’t afford to stay?” That’s the same spiel he used the last time he left the SA with Bailey when they tried their hand at private practice. It didn’t last very long before they both came crawling back.
He might try his hand at being a used car salesman. He might have more luck.
Then again, it probably won’t sell.

They sure didn’t waste anytime kicking him to the curb. Surprised it took this long. He’s burned every bridge in the State Attorney’s Office along with his butt buddy Bailey.

None to soon too. Don’t care to see that phony, disingenuous, self absorbed twit around the courthouse after this whole Covid thing is over ever again. Don’t know of anyone whose had any dealings with Tony Loe that ever had anything good to say about him. Never thought much about his sleazy tactics in court either. Just an all around douche bag with a very over inflated opinion of himself if you ask me.

So the bitch finally got ditched. One less Satz Snitch. Smart move for incoming admin. Loe has always been a tattletale for perks. He’d sell out for a handful of pennies.

Snitching was the way to get ahead in the old Sao. Mr. Pryor won’t be surrounding himself with those types.

Say no to Trumper Brad Cohen running the state attorneys office. Had a very good reasonable lawyer fired for doing his job. Cohen makes no apologies for being a republican douche bag and is in Harold Pryor’s ear. You don’t get to win because you’re a democrat and then suck republican dick. When are you going to hook up the black community. They got you elected not republicans Harold.

Bradford Cohen, the attorney for both rappers, confirmed to Rolling Stone that both were granted clemency. “President Trump and his administration have been tireless advocates on behalf of the African-American community,” Cohen tells Rolling Stone. “These pardons are a perfect example of this administration following up on its reforms and commitments.”

Rick Scott and Ron Desantis. These Trumpers have remade the judiciary in the image of Donald Trump. If Judge Holmes has the electoral power many believe, she ought to help lawyers run and win against incumbents.

Ilona Holmes won’t do shit. Sat there for 30 years and helped Mike Satz create the school to prison pipeline. Biggest hypocrit in Broward County.

Merlin Law Group Hires Former Judge Dennis Bailey To Lead Trial Division

“I’ve known Merlin Law Group and the work it does for more than a decade. When I decided to leave the bench and get back into private practice, I knew Merlin Law Group was where I wanted to go,” said Bailey.

Bailey was stupid enough to set himself up to be a casualty from the Broward Bench, and now is stupid enough to try to put this kind of spin on it? Has this duffis bumped his head or is he just that dense?

Dumb plug. Dennis still doesn’t get it. He was tossed off the bench by voters because of exactly this type of arrogance.
This will be his second try at private practice, the first ending in a crash and burn and resulting in his return to the state attorneys office. He didn’t last long on the bench either.
He and his cohort Tony Loe suffer from the same blockhead attitude resulting in the failure of their attempts to play the big squeeze for all its worth and failing in the process multiple times.
Now they both got washed down the drain with no fanfare accompanying their departures, only a big sigh of relief that they both are gone for good.

That’s the thing. These people win an election, or get appointed. Then immediately they’re so called Honorable. But lots of times they’re anything but. This may be called a fib or puffing, but it’s still a lie. It’s a good thing he’s not someone that can go around and be called Honorable no more.

Bailey can chit in one valley and move onto the next – but he won’t sit on the bench again. He’d have to cough up the filing fee. Lol.
Another jerk that squandered an opportunity. You can add him to the long list of Broward judges that have done the same.

It will be a real adjustment for Dennis Bailey with the pay cut and his loss of self-importance. Always thought he was just a petulant punk that didn’t know what he was doing.

        1. 0

          1

It will be an adjustment because he isn’t judge- and is accountable to a boss- but it’s not a pay cut. Most lawyers can make a lot more at private firms than they could as judges. Judges are woefully underpaid. It’s embarrassing how little they are paid and it’s one of the reasons we don’t have better candidates.

          1. 10

            0

The fact is that most can’t make more in private practice and that’s the reason the seek to become judges in the first place.

It doesn’t pay much, but its the best they can do and it pays the bills. Then they become bitter about it after a while and drown their sorrows and false sense of security in booze and medications and act like complete idiots from the bench.

Its usually followed after the judicial honeymoon is over with judicial complaints and challenges at the polls after which they become the victims of conspiracies to rob them of what they believe they are somehow entitled to.

Then of course there are plenty of the career gophers who keep their heads down, muddle through the job doing as little as possible because that’s all the mediocrity they can summon and fervently pray they don’t get targeted by another enterprising slider who’s tired of the rat race.

Broward is full of such judicial junkies. It doesn’t much to spot them, even before they get busted.

The vast majority in Broward are overpaid for the little service they render to citizens who pick up the tab and are woefully unaware of the slackers who make up this club of skimmers.

The JQC admonishment was pending when he blew his top over a wheelchair dog. He sure got what he deserved at the polls. The voters put him in and the voters took him out. Decided to go back, indeed.

I opened my eyes and thanked God for giving me breath and life today. I will do his work and stop you white demons from hurting Harold Pryor. I prayed in my services for you Sheila Alu Lauren Linville and my sister told me to go on you tube and watch that Corey Cawthorn. May the Holy Spirit fill you with sorrow for what you have done and repent young women.

Merlin Law Group Hires Former Judge Dennis Bailey To Lead Trial Division

    NEWS PROVIDED BY
    Merlin Law Group, P.A.
    Jan 22, 2021, 10:08 ET
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 22, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Merlin Law Group has recently hired Dennis Bailey, a former Circuit Judge from the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, to lead its Trial Division.

Bailey brings a wealth of experience to the firm and previously worked fourteen years as a criminal trial lawyer. He served as Assistant State Attorney of Broward County for nine of those years, prosecuting and defending crimes from misdemeanors to murder. Bailey spent another 14 years of his career in general civil rights practice as both plaintiff and defense counsel and represented clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to homeless citizens in Federal Civil Rights litigation throughout Florida. Bailey’s experience as an attorney includes over 200 jury trials and over 200 bench trials. As a judge, Bailey oversaw hundreds of trials.

He also served as a teacher and taught trial practice at Nova Southeastern University and the University of Miami.

Chip Merlin, president of Merlin Law Group, noted Bailey will work with Managing Attorney Michael Duffy on both oversight and support of the firm’s cases. Merlin believes Bailey’s experience and passion for trial practice will aid even the most seasoned attorneys and assist in training and mentoring other attorneys with little trial exposure.

“Other attorneys at law firms representing policyholders simply do not have the support we provide to our staff. This effort to increase specialized legal skill sets and provide the educational tools and training to our team sets us apart – as do the individual efforts of each of the attorneys here at Merlin Law Group,” said Merlin.

Bailey is familiar with the firm and from his time on the bench and is excited to join its efforts to advocate for policyholders nationwide.

“I’ve known Merlin Law Group and the work it does for more than a decade. When I decided to leave the bench and get back into private practice, I knew Merlin Law Group was where I wanted to go,” said Bailey.

About Merlin Law Group: Merlin Law Group has been dedicated to representing policyholders and litigating their insurance claims for over 35 years. We have represented individual homeowners, commercial enterprises, condominium associations, and large municipalities. Our firm has successfully litigated and recovered hundreds of millions in damages for our clients. Having a dedicated trial team, financial resources to fight insurance companies, and attorneys nationwide sets us apart.

Its probably a pretty good idea that Dennis Bailey serve for the rest of his employable years in a subordinate capacity where his performance can be evaluated on a fairly regular basis.
Some people just aren’t cut out to make decisions.

Merlins law group – sorcery is afoot. Dennis Bailey you lost over George Odom who is favored with the Lord. Keep your devil white women Sheila Alu and Lauren Linville over there with Merlin. The Lord will protect you Harold Pryor from the dark magic. Black Lives Matter.

Is the defense bar getting a strategy in unison to drop all kinds of speedy trials upon the opening up?
This would get rid of a lot of cases.

Hey Mary Ellen – Sheila Alu works for Harold, and trumper Brad Cohen, a republican, is pulling the strings and getting people fired. You should pray for Alex uriella. All he did was stand up to Brad Cohen. You elected him but now he’s in with the players in this county and you will be left in the dust as he continues his political career on republican money. Harold Pryor will sell you out in a white hot minute. Just like Ilona did long ago. Ask a criminal defense attorney about her. I hope you’re not stupid enough to blindly follow what they tell you is happening and not check for yourself .
