90 DAYS FOR ROSENTHAL

*UPDATE BELOW*

The JQC has recommended a Public Reprimand and a 90 day suspension without pay for Lynn RosenthalThe findings and recommendation are found here.

The stipulation to punishment is found hereGuy Lewis, Rosenthal’s former boss at the US Attorney’s Office, is designated attorney of record for the accused.

(Thanks to Anonymous @10:43 AM)

Coming SoonShould the Supreme Court accept the terms of the Rosenthal settlement?

UPDATE: The documents are worth reading.  Rosenthal, in her testimony to the JQC, apparently contradicted the events captured on BSO’s video regarding the offer of a blood or urine test, just as she did on August 6th of last year when she spoke to WPLG’s Bob NormanThat video is found here.

The cellphone video Rosenthal shot on 595 was deleted after the JQC asked for it, and she told the JQC she wasn’t using meds any longer, which wasn’t true.  The JQC categorizes some statements as “misleading, or incomplete“, and references a prior attorney present at a hearing before Lewis was involved, believed to be David Bogenschutz, although we’re trying to confirm.  The JQC notes the problems with her testimony were due to a “personal family crisis“.

“problems due to a personal family crises” ? Didn’t Former Broward Judge Ana Gardiner try to pull the same thing ? What is going on with these judges in Broward County ? Just hope the Supreams see through all of this ? Why are the recommendations of the JQC so transparently lenient time after time even for repeat offender Broward judges ?

Yeah and then she dated, moved in with, and married her attorney and has a significantly higher standard of living now than she did before. She seems really punished. I’ll bet she never does it again until she has a crack at Roy Black.

Of course–except gardiner’s exposure started over dinner with the prosecutor. But the sickest things are: 1. she was still allowed to reign on the bench and infect other proceedings, and 2. none of her other cases (that demonstrated similar fraudulent, dishonest and collusive, bias, prejudicial conduct with persecutors like Raft and even massive JQC complaints that were summarily dismissed without investigation due to Backman being on the commission to obstruct them), –were ever re-opened conduct resulting in numerous fraudulent convictions and illegal sentences.

She’s not only back on the road, she’s back on the bench ! Her words describe it in the Norman Vid as she was “sleep-driving”. If that’s the case using her own words, what would she have been doing if she had got to the bench that morning, “sleep judging” ??? Never heard anything so rediculas. And the JCQ thinks a 90 suspension is good enough ?

She’s done. Judges can’t steal a remote control and they can’t play games with an offical investigation.

Hmmm…What is the “daily medication” she takes that she lied to the commission about – read the stipulation

THERE IS SOMETHING VERY WRONG IN BROWARD WITH ITS JUDGES. THERE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT A CRISES IN CONFIDENCE WITH THE CONTINUED NUMBER OF POORLY BEHAVING JUDGES AND APPARENTLY THE JQC IS UNAWARE OR DENIES OR CONTINUES TO IGNORE THIS FACT OR TO IMPLEMENT HARSHER RECOMMENDATIONS TO CORRECT THIS VERY REAL THREAT TO PUBLIC CONFIDENCE.

Rosenthal looks like some kind of freak with what looks like the worst plastic surgery on her nose I’ve ever seen. Maybe it’s something she had to do like Pennocio because she’s told so many whoppers. Lol. Hope she gets what’s coming to her because these whoppers she’s been telling defy description. On the video you can tell she doesn’t even believe it. The truth will set u free. Some of these judges should try it once in a while !

How pathetic does it have to become in Broward before the Supream Court realizes that the JQC is part of the problem along with the judges and unless the SC takes a very hard line against drunk or drugged or lying judges here, the problem is going to continue.
A lot of times these problems with these judges have been raised long before they go to the JQC or the Supream Court and nothing is done by the chief judge but to provide continual lame excuses for their behavior because he wants to remain CJ.
Take the really rotten politics out of the equation, like we have here in Broward County, and a lot of these problems won’t occur.
Make both the Chief Judge and his judges accountable for the state of affairs in Broward by providing some oversight of them both.
The equally lame request by our CJ for more judges is one more rediculas excuse for these judges to have too much time on their hands to get into trouble, or campaign when they should be working.
But we’ve got a CJ that doesn’t carry a caseload so how Is that a good example to the others? U tell me that.
Judicial Oversight is the key. Stop this Broward Judicial Culture of them thinking they are entitled to do whatever they want whenever they want. Take a stroll through the Broward Courthouse and see just how little is actually being done. It would be a lot easier than cleaning up Broward’s Judicial Mess one judge at a time !

If judges earned more money a better candidate would have applied and got the appointment based on merit. Rosenthal never would have been a judge and couldn’t have embarrassed Florida.

Would somebody please tank this tank of laughing gas away from me now?

boo hoo hoo. complain and blame the JQC and Winestein. your complaints are misdirected. everything said here was know to the public and she was opposed in the election but crushed her opponant and was reelected by the people of broward. the problem is not the JQC. It’s judicial elections. the public has no clue and palm caeds rule. after the suspension she’ll be back, in criminal, where we all can enjoy her until 2021

    1) Refuse everything upon arrest
    2) Get sweetheart plea deal
    3) Get reelected to 6 more years
    4) Be honest, throw yourself on the mercy of the JQC. Odds are you get a slap on the wrist as a first offender.

She couldn’t even get #4 right.

She has never claimed she was an addict or even a person with a problem. She claims she one bad day due to Ambien.

So why on Dec 5, did she continue to lie? At least with Former Judge Pollack, her words and actions were clouded because she was in the throws of addiction. It was clear her addiction clouded her good judgment and she lost control. What is Rosenthal’s excuse?

Rosenthal wasn’t an addict on Dec 5. Nothing (apparently) clouded her judgment when she decided to lie. She lied for the sake of her family? The same family who over the prior 6 months had seen her arrested, take a plea and go through a tough election?

She is a liar and has only come clean now because she was forced to see her lies blow up in her face.

This doesn’t bode well for Cindy. But whatever crap she pulled pales in comparison to this. Cindy didn’t take the stand. With her courtroom experience she could have wooed any jury. But she didn’t, to her credit. This one, Rosenthal, played a game all through the arrest and campaign and then “misleads” the JQC. Call it whatever they want those fix jobs at the JQC should be ashamed of themselves. This is the worst possible example any Judge or investigatory body could present. Again the Supreme Court has to fight against local and JQC cover ups of the worst kind involving a Broward Judge. It never ends.

It’s a good thing the SAO likes her. If they didn’t she’d be toast. Look at what happened to Contini. All he did was tell the truth. Now he’s banished. Rosenthal did the opposite and she’ll be back in Criminal before you can say go to prison Lakesha.

The only reason the state attorneys office likes her is because she does what they ask. If she was pro-defense they’d ask for her removal.

Of course the S.Ct. will accept the reprimand.

She is not a solo practicing attorney and she showed up with a high ranking U.S. Attorney.

Weinstein won the last election by 3 or 4 votes? Wouldn’t that be the number of Judges in deep doo doo with the JQC? Inspiring to think how decisions are made around these parts.

All the Weinstein Judges are responsible for the state of the union but they’ll never see it let alone admit. It’s worrisome who is judging the character of civilians in Broward when most of them can’t see the E on the top of the DHSMV eye exam chart.

How is it she could be busted by Bob Norman regarding the Dui video on television and still testify inconsistently in front of the Jqc months later? The Bob Norman stuff was during a campaign for crying out loud. Like she didn’t watch the report while she was fighting for her job? I don’t get it.

Very disappointing considering the surrounding circumstances. The JQC continues to send very poor signals as far as its recommendations of Rosenthal.

  32. 0

    0

I think that the Supream Court may take a different view of the antics of Rosenthal. The JQC appears to be part of the problem rather than a solution to the rash of bad judges in Broward County. You would think that they had plenty of practice by now.

Why not ask Betsy to say how she really feels about Howard and Cathy? Now that would be the kind of truth-telling that we would like to see in judges. How about it Betsy? Tell us the things that you said about HMH and Cruella Deville when they wouldn’t give you more money a few years ago and you left the office in a huff and… oh, I forgot… you came back again. Nevermind.

Not a good idea to get in the car after eating too many zanies. Hope the Supremes treat her accordingly. One can only hope she receives the same compassion that she dispensed from the bench.

Benson has about as much chance of becoming a judge in this town as Jeb Bush has of becoming the next President of the United States. The only one that doesn’t know this already is her. LOL

    1. 0

Betsy is one who is VERY qualified to be a judge.

Comparing her to Jeb is like comparing you to someone with brains………

  42. 0

Betsy Benson is a good human being, has paid her dues and would make a great judge. Public relations is part of running for office. She’s doing what she has to do. She’ll be fine. Good luck,
    Betsy.

  43. 0

    0

I wouldn’t tell anybody I was a former pd if I were running for judge either. Doesn’t fly well when we have a bench filled with prosecutors and voters don’t want anything to do with anyone representing criminals. Not that she’s tried that many cases when compared to many others anyway. HH ain’t gonna be stacking the bench with PD’s anytime soon !

  44. 0

    0

More people like Betsy Benson should run for judge. She’d be a credit to an otherwise morally bankrupt judiciary as we have repeatedly seen evidenced of late.

    1. 0

      0

I would agree with you if I had not seen the web page. Clearly it was her intent to hide the fact she is a PD. Mindy, Olga and Sandy won while working as PD’s. Betsy’s certainly doesn’t have a problem asking for money and support from her fellow PD’s. Yet she hides the fact she is a PD? Sounds par for the course with the morally bankrupt judiciary you speak of.

  45. 0

  46. 0

Why is the Public Defender’s Office listed as the address for a not-for-profit?

Could she be any more transparent? Starting an organization minutes before she filed for judge? Puh-lease.

Benson wants to limit as much as possible any connection to Howie and gang. We get it. who wouldn’t do the same thing. It’s a campaign smasher.

  48. 0

I doubt it. Benson is trying to put as much distance between her and HF as she can. It won’t do her any good. The word is already out.

  49. 0

    0

There’s a good reason she took her website down. Bet on it. PD baggage isn’t going to do her any good and she knows it. She’s blown it already.

  50. 0

    0

Rosenthal needs to be removed from office. 90 days won’t teach her a thing or any of the other Broward judges for that matter.

  51. 0

    0

Benson can’t win against Alcalde, no way. Alcalde has the backing of the Hispanic Bar, the ASA, the cops and most heavy voters out west already wrapped up. Benson has what : a site that’s already down and a few PD’s which she doesn’t want anybody to know about and the wrong last name. Time for a reality check.

  52. 0

    0

Rosenthal will find out the hard way that her political buddies with the JQC don’t have the last word. She deserves to be thrown off the bench with what she’s done and the Supreams I hope do what’s right. Broward had so many clown judges a line has to be drawn somewhere.

  53. 0

    0

The cover’s been blown. Why would Benson try to minimize her long career with The Public Defender’s Office ? Doesn’t say much for all the people she’s worked with, does it ? Is this the kind of person we want as a judge in Broward ? Think long. Think hard. Then vote according to your conscience.

  54. 0

    0

How is it that Benson as an assistant public defender is allowed to work for Help me Howard channel 7 segment ? And what is it that she actually does ?

  55. 0

    0

What a joke: “Alcalde has the support of the ASA’s and the Hispanic vote”… So that’ll get her a few dozen votes. While the Hispanic vote may be key in Dade County where the population is mainly Caribbean and very political, the Broward Hispanic vote is means much less because South American Hispanics are not as politically active. And the fact that she has the “ASA support”?…..HAHAHA…PLEASE. Prosecutors never pledge money…they are rarely politically involved…they don’t work on campaigns…and if every prosecutor voted it would be a few 100 votes. Don’t forget, Alcalde is disliked by many prosecutors because she turned on one of her own attorneys for her own personal advantage. She’s got heavy ethical baggage and no important support. Benson has powerful backers. No contest here.

    1. 0

      0

Damm right Benson decided to run against Alcalde, everyone knows Hispanics can’t win in Broward. Everyone knows Howard and everyone at the PD office never consider Hispanics as minorities. Why do you think Howard is actively helping Benson and it appears APD in the Office seems to be permitted to campaign for her. No one in the Office was allowed to support or campaign for Olga Gonzalez Levine.

  56. 0

    0

Think you may have it wrong. Benson had announced and then Alcalde entered the race. It will be an interesting none the less.

  57. 0

Hope it works better than his little blow he failed at with Nina DiPietro !!! LOL SHES A JUDGE NOW WITH HIS HELP

  58. 0

    0

Never realized Benson was a minority either. Ms. Alcalde has already made from what I understand tremendous gains since announcing with many working on her campaign. I wouldn’t consider it would be easy to beat her at this point with the momentum she has managed to build.
Despite the obvious enough attempt to disassociate herself somewhat publicly by omission from her employment at the Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Benson will be facing an uphill battle against a superior adversary with resources that will determine the outcome of this judicial race early in the campaign.

  59. 0

    0

Why be critical of Weinstein ? From the perspective of wannabe Judges he’s doing a fine job. The more vacancies the better. Not to mention contested elections. This Chief Judge is a boon to anyone interested in turmoil.

  60. 0

    0

No one can say remorselessly locking up blacks for nothing doesn’t carry a cost. After Contini no one can say rebelling against the prevailing trend is good for a judicial career either. Maybe it’s lending oneself in any way shape or form to the master plan, intentionally or not, that exacts the toll. Grist for the cotton pickin mill.

  61. 0

    0

Just hope the Supream Court in its wisdom recognizes the JQC recommendation is just what it looks like, a political compromise born of error in judgment. Broward judges for far too long have enjoyed an immunity of sorts for their poor behavior. I believe some kind of example should be set to discourage this trend of deception and self-serving attitude repeatedly seen in Broward’s judges. It does the public a large disservice to permit this kind of mockery of Justice to continue.

  62. 0

    0

After so many years I’ve given up hope. They can do whatever they want. Everybody else can go to hell and cough up more tax money for pay raises when they demand it. Donald Trump is right. American values have been crippled.

  63. 0

Lol. The only thing more American than Trump is the pecker-head who appointed Rosenthal in between breaths while taking the 5th.

  64. 0

Some people like to think being a Judge is important, and prestigious. Unfortunately, the JQC reminds the public again and again that it’s not.

  65. 0

    0

Attorneys obviously need to start looking for better role models than Judges. By the time the JQC finishes attorneys can look up to car salesmen. Or Jimmy Swaggart.

  66. 0

Benson doesn’t even want to admit she works as a PD or for Howie. How’s she gonna talk about all the experience that would make a good judge ? Lol
Alcalde starts ahead and stays ahead.

  67. 0

    0

I tried several cases in her courtroom. For those of you who had the same unpleasant experience know that if a defendant destroyed evidence, drove under the influence, or lied to the court, they would wind up in prison for many years. This disgrace-to-the-bench does the same thing and gets a ninety day vacation? If there is justice, the Supreme Court should remove her from the bench. She is a caricature of a lying, deceitful jurist.

  71. 0

Both Rosenthal or Imperato wouldn’t be the slightest concerned if someone used the excuse of a family crises in either of their courtrooms because somehow they feel they are entitled beyond that of the daily grind of the normal working citizen. Both should be removed from office and replaced with judges that remain concerned about their jobs and the impact it has on family and society as a whole. The lies told and destruction of evidence are other subjects altogether and Rosethal should be disciplined for that as well by both the Supream Court and the Bar.

      1. 0

        0

There are many who could lead but the repercussions too great. Fixing the problems here requires breaking a lot of eggs. With the vindictive nature of Broward politics that surely would result in opposition at the polls or other problems which may impact a promotion to a higher court. Those reasons are enough to scare off anyone from cleaning up the mess.

  72. 0

    0

Maybe the Chief Justice is correct; if the pay was higher, wouldn’t there exist a more competitive selection process so the bottom feeding trash had no chance at appointment, being ignored in favor of qualified candidates newly attracted by a living wage, thereby eliminating the high incidence of bad guys on the bench?

    1. 0

      0

No. It’s time to reduce judicial pay. The idea is to attract public servants. The Judges in rural circuits already are amongst the richest people in town. Raising pay would attract even more politicians. That may be hard to imagine but look and see, current pay is too high already and attracting the wrong element in many cases.

  73. 0

    0

Any way to get the Counseling Reports of Marcela Rivera-Fuentes regarding Imperato mentioned in the JQC documents for trial?

  74. 0

    0

Does anyone know what brand of Xanax pills Judge Rosenthal prefers? I believe an investment in the manufacturing entity would be prudent at this time as demand surely will soar until such time as the Supreme Court determines her fate. I am inquiring further if anyone has knowledge of the judicial truth serum rumored in development by a major pharmaceutical company. I predict this will be in large demand as well, and I would like to get in on the ground floor.

  75. 0

Figure it out for yourself. Benson for Judge site remains down for a very good reason. First hide from your voting constituents you are a public defender and after quitting there and then coming back she wants to be a judge. Judge well yourself before casting your vote. Check it out.

Gardiner blamed a different kind of addiction that was brought on by a “Family Crises” too. Seems to be a commonly used excuse for these whiners when they’re caught cold. Lies and more lies from people that find it easy to lie when it suits them. Rosenthal should be removed from the bench and then disbarred for good.

  79. 0

These whacko Broward judges crying for raises and complaining they are not be paid enough sure try every sleazy move to hang on to their jobs like it their lifeline and their lives depend on it! Lol. These joker lawbreakers are sucking enough out of the public already and wil do most anything including making misleading statements under oath to remain sucking at the public trough to remain underpaid public servants ! What an unmitigated joke. Let’em try getting a real job where they have to be accountable ! That’s what they are obviously really afraid of.

    1. 0

      0

This is a good point. It should not escape observers how the pay is certainly attractive enough to cause many individuals to sacrifice their dignity during official proceedings to keep the checks coming through. If it is as easy as Chief Justice Labarga says it is to make millions of dollars, it would seem logical that those honorable types, when caught in a mistake, would either tell the truth and stay a Judge, or resign and cash in for big dollars.

The Chief Justice has a good point, although he shouldn’t have insulted prosecutors in making it. Better individuals need to be attracted to the bench. In the meantime, he should realize it’s not all about money. Many sincerely believe in public service, while many others could never make the same money in the private sector, having tried before focusing on a judgeship. Others gladly trade the ability to make more as a solo or in a law firm for the prestige and deference given in the community to a Judge, not to mention the much easier work schedule a Judge has in relation to those at a firm or representing people.

There has never been a clearer indication that the culture of Broward Judges is incapable of fixing itself. The worst embarrassing episodes across Florida, and often the nation, have throughout the years been provided by Broward. While no African American male has recently been falsely accused by a Broward Judge of committing a felony in a cowardly attempt to shift responsibility, the examples throughout the decades still haven’t gotten through. Remarkably, though not surprisingly, all the Judges recently failed to cooperate with the police. The Chief Judge was there as a cheerleader and willing to do anything they asked instead of offering stern rebukes. Most regrettably, now another Broward Judge has been caught in another scandalous attempt at cover-up, exposing the true culture of anything goes Broward officialdom where it’s only a bad act if the typical ploys, antics and deceit fails to keep the hammer from falling. Where does the buck stop in a circuit that has made a mockery of justice by the most glaring double standards applied in obvious and glaring fashion? Not anywhere.

  83. 0

Whiney Weinstein do anything ? You’ve been drinking too much Tequila ! All he’s doing is hanging in there as long as he can doing as little as possible. He doesn’t even have a docket like other chief judges throughout the state. To expect that to change is like expecting some of these drunk or drugged broward judges to tell the truth once in a while ! Face it, the quality of some of these boneheads doesn’t go beyond collecting their fat pensions!

All you lawyers are a bunch of fucking hypocrites. I thought you were supposed to defend to the end. I guess only paying clients or minorities rate. I don’t know this Rosenthal, but all your whining makes me sick. Maybe if you stopped trying to get all the guilty off for profit you would feel better about yourself. Sorry, silly me…..I was trying to believe that right was right and wrong was wrong…..but shit O’Bama and Shrillary are still free, so I’ll wait until we come to our senses.

The worst part of all this mass awakening concerning Rosenthal is the fact Jahra McLawrence would have been a great Judge. What a shame.

  87. 0

McLawrence just couldn’t cut it. He couldn’t figure out what he was dealing with. Never had a chance because he didn’t address his opponent’s weaknesses which were numerous. These political hacks play for keeps. He was outmatched from the beginning. Too bad really. Some people never learn.

90 days ? LOL. Misleading statements to the JQC amounts to only a 90 suspension ? Don’t know where they came up with that one with judges dropping like flies in Broward. It sure doesn’t set a very good example to provide any kind of deterrent for these law breakers. And they are allowed to continue to sit in judgment of others ? Something is very wrong here.

Benson for judge site still mysteriously down. Very telling if you read between the lines. Word is an APD ain’t gonna fly this time where it counts. It’s been a setup job that went bad.

No need to “read between the lines” about Benson. Just a glance at her Facebook page shows she has been hitting cultural and charity events all over the county. Nice try Alcalde…but why is that we see NO community involvement by you? “Very telling” indeed!

Betsy has spent most of her career being a puppet for the grandiose hippie midget. Will he still need to tell her what to think and how to behave if she becomes a judge?

U blowhards ! What does it matter that Benson’s website is down. It doesn’t mean anything because she doesn’t have much chance of making her escape from the PD’s office anyway. At least she has the balls to give it a try unlike most of the rest of u idiots who do nothing but comment on her chances.

I sure hope the Fla Supream Court does something about the obvious problem of the JQC not taking the responsibility for the judges in Broward County. It’s reached a point where it’s totally rediculas.

    now now pilgrims…its very simple
at the head of any vessel there is a capitan who is reposible for all the crew members of that ship.
a good & compentent captain = smooth sailing
an uber idiot of a captain = running aground sometime more then once. in the us navy / merchant marine a captain that runs a ship aground is dismissed from duty.

All the negative comments on here about Betsy Benson is the work of Adriana Alcalde’s campaign manager the mighty A-Turd.
The Turd’s stench will bring Alcalde down.

Benson’s biggest mistake is she runs for circuit … Second is she thinks she can minimize her career as a pd and keep it from voters. Third is her website still down for a very good reason connected to the second.

If anyone could entice Deez Nuts to leave Iowa and come to Broward to run for Judge at 15 years old, he sure would get my vote.
He couldn’t possibly do any worse a job than most of the idiots either running for a paycheck or sitting presently on the bench.
Another perk would be he’s still young enough not to have developed a drinking or drug problem !
He’s already obviously a lot smarter than the judges we’ve got.

Anybody stupid enough to get involved with A-Turd besides slippin the dude a laxative is crazy. That slimy small-time worm couldnt win a game at pin the tail on a pig’s axx.
About the only thing he ever did right was get his stomach stapled. Now if he’d just get the same thing done to his snout.

There was a time when the lies jokers told would slide like so much saturated fat from margarine based products down my skull because mom and dad never questioned or asked why? It wasn’t exactly a fighter jet of purity these clowns were flying but hey everybody has to make a living. But now the lying pigs wear faces borne of the experiences modern people arent supposed to wear. Maybe they’re burned out and sure enough will plead from now until forever that they do care but the reality is far from simple or a hybrid truth/lie. Until then expect more innocent people to die and many more pigs to keep flying high. Fuck you pig.

Don’t go getting all sentimental on us, A-Turd. Keep believing pigs fly but don’t expect you’ll ever get off the ground. You’ve always made what little you manage to snarf off the coat tails of others. Keep greasin the pole, fat boy.

Last time I saw Benson before she took her Benson for Judge site down she was wearing a towel on her head. in trying to be all things to all people she’s selling the store way too early. Time for a reality check. Lol starting from behind doesn’t mean you have to stay there, even when you’re running against a person with way more experience than u.

Funny how anti-Aturd comments are followed by attacks on Benson. Alcalde thinks that having Aturd as her attack dog is going to help her. She doesn’t realize how his smell is pervasive.

Watch the next comment will be about Benson’s website being down. Come on Aturd. We all know it’s you.

There is a typo in th signature block of the Stipulation. It says “18th Judicial Circuit” under Lynn’s name. Great attention to detail when you are signing one of the most significant documents in your life (just seeing that signature creeps me out). Anybody appearing before her regularly knows she is in a medicated haze. This typo is emblematic. The fact that she sits in judgement of others is disgusting. She is so delusional and pilled up that she sees herself as a victim in all this. She thinks this is a “witch hunt” all started by a negligent doctor prescription. She is dangerous and needs to go, now.

She reminds me of Judge Woosey Suzzie on a bad day. Both of them seem to be in a mental haze. Perfect for the 17th group of judicial misfits. And they do it with the the full support of the biggest judicial clown of the all WhineyWeinstein !

Betsy, remember when you told everyone that you would “never return to that hell-hole” when you left the PD office a few years ago? You told that to a lot of people. Remember when you said that Howard and Cathy never appreciate the people who really work hard and care about their clients? You told that to a lot of people. What are you going to say now about your former bosses and colleagues?

Apparently Benson isn’t even going to mention that she has ever worked as a PD. although it will not be lost to voters you may be sure. cc: Benson for Judge website mysteriously disappears.

What a bunch of honkers. What does it honestly matter whether Benson has taken down her website or not and what does it matter to you anyway ? Maybe she thinks any association with the PD will lessen her chances of winning. Maybe she’s been told by her boss to take it down because he doesn’t want her riding his notoriety. None of this has much to do with her qualifications or whether she would do a good job. Maybe she just wants a way out of the rat race and wants to be her own boss. I don’t blame her. Try looking at what she could bring to the bench in terms of diversity. Back off and give her a chance. Familiarize yourselves with the qualities she possess and make your decision when it comes to whether you should vote for her or not, but for Pete’s sake leave the chick to her own devices. Having never met the woman I think it’s wrong to label her an orange candidate or anything like that.

No defense attorney will support Adrian Alcalde after the way she was rude and condescending to the defense bar when she was a prosecutor. Who needs another Nazi judge with an attitude. What goes around comes around Adrian, and sometimes that at a very inconvenient time!

Even when Alcalde was with the sex unit, she was usually given a second chair at trial because Dennis Siegel knew how incompetent she was, but she would complain so much that he could never get transferred into another division.

Imperato gets sent back for another hearing on her second DUI and subsequent JQC recommendation to The Supream Court. Rosenthal gets sent back to answer misleading and incomplete answers she gave previously to JQC by The Supream Court.
What in the hell is wrong with the JUDICIAL QUALIFICATIONS COMMITTEE one might ask? It’s looking like the members of the JQC are just as bad in trying to provide cover for these errant Broward judges as the judges themselves.
