As far as I’m concerned Destry was never suited to be a judge in the first place. Bad mistake. Maybe selling Girl Scout cookies or something.

Pretty funny that the old goat fell right into the slaughterhouse due to his own stupidity… got what he deserved. Broward judges really are a pathetic group of government losers that can’t make it at anything else but sucking at the public trough.

Why didn’t he send a bailiff or his ja? Perks are gone come January. Use them before lose them. Parking’s a bitch too.

These slackers take months off to campaign while being paid and then more time off after the election to pick up trash? Was he in court today? Does Weinstein know about this?

The Chief didn’t do this guy any favors by keeping him in Criminal for years. He burned out long before the excessive sentencing started. He’d still be a Judge if they rotated. Robinson up soon. That’s the best part of all this.

    1. 2

      1

It better be an African American lawyer running against Robinson. Preferably a woman. That’s how to beat him quick and easy. No controversy either.

      Fuk that…and Fuk Richards!

He was a piss poor judge and it sucks having to vote for Nina but he really was that bad….no way he should ever be judge again of anything.

He gave a guy 364 jail for contacting victim even though it was proven victim tricked guy into contact. 30 days would have been fine.

Richards was a great judge wether it was locking a cop who was a repeated
Woman beater and busted up her eye socket or refusing throwing a case for some rich men as asked by Judge Cohen you know Lori’s husband.
It would lock him up too for 364…

Richards is a racist. Only shows up to black events. He even failed to show up to the sun-sentinel candidate endorsement interview one year. His turn on the bench is OVER!

Wow. Destry looks so sad. Really, really sad.

Like a parent might look after some Judge who has spent like maybe 45 minutes with their son sentenced the boy to basically life in prison for a bunch of technicals with a schmucky lawyer on the boy’s case to boot.

    Poor Destry.

I hope that, “Boy” your talking about isn’t Herbert Smith. He was 23 and on his 9th felony as an adult. Armed car jacking, robbery, burglary….it’s all fun and games playing defense counsil until its your wife or daughter getting yanked out of their car, by their hair, at gun point.

I hear both Holmes and Robinson are up in 2018. But Holmes is retiring, supposedly. Neither of them will be missed. Can we get the rest of the names that are up?

To be a Putz & to be a cruel, moralizing, well, a Dick. Karma is a bitch. I just feel for the poor folks serving unfair sentences, certain there are more than a few. As was well said for D. Ross: Good Riddance!

Robinson is the next one that needs to be voted out. A door knob is smarter than this guy and much faster. It would help if he understood just half of what was going on around him instead of always talking about himself.

Athletics are key to the justice system? The people in his courtroom don’t play sports or Little League? Athletics teach teamwork? Is that how he runs his courtroom? Or more like a dictator? Chris Smith? Isn’t he a politician? Wishing him well?

There are two young blacks strongly considering filing there who are sick of the way he goes out of his way to harass the asas and pds. One isn’t a local so she’s not afraid of agita from the big bad Robinsons in the community. I hope it happens.

This major jarhead duffis should be picking up the pieces of the people whose lives he has shattered. I can’t feel much compassion for just another Broward judge that went way too far and is now reaping the consequences of his rather lusterless and short career on the bench.
I’ve had dealings with Destry. There’s a very observable disconnect there that was always disturbing in my opinion.

  9. 3

If any of the judges in Broward really needed to be bounced out, and there aren’t plenty more, it was Destry ! Who cares where he goes as long as he’s out of here. Put him on some military base cleaning toilets for the rest of his life as far as I’m concerned. He’s always been damaged goods that fell out of the back of some jeep on reconnaissance !

  10. 6

    1

He gave a first time drug offender 10 because he lost trial. The case was reversed. He deserves worse than losing and being pictured in a funny picture on a blog. He should have to eat the sign without any condiments. It looks like someone already puched out the face area of the sign so there isn’t much cardboard left to choke down. And for Desert? A heaping plate of humble pie.

Lol !! I must have passed by in my car around the same time you snapped this pic and seen the same thing ! I laid on my car horn for about 20 seconds laughing where he could see me ! This dude was always whacked like he suffered from shell shock or something. He deserved to lose big and he did. Won’t catch me feeling sorry for the guy!

One very strange guy that I won’t mind never having to appear in front of again. Something weird must have happened to him when he was younger for him to turn out the way he is. 🙁

Off subject: please watch Phyllis Pritcher’s FB videos. One is funnier then the next. In one of them she self promotes herself along with a wine bar. In another she’s boating with her girlfriends. Very funny stuff.

Phyliss Pritcher is pretty damn awesome. I think she should run again, it would be great to appear before her. We have all said it a million times, demeanor is so important. She has great sense of humor, quite pleasant, good natured, and respectful. Go Phyliss in 2018!!!!!!!

Micromanaging Matt. He couldn’t keep out of the way. He couldn’t let the State and Defense work out the cases. He rejected offers willy nilly. He pushed the cases to trial to both sides detriment. He would screw privates out of fees the same way. He sentenced like Judge Stanton Kaplan on steroids in a wild and unpredictable fashion. He abused staff and litigants by showing up late every day and staying through lunch or the evening hours. His meddlesome ways are even more distasteful because he was a lousy lawyer in his day and constantly overturned by the Dca as a Judge. He shouldn’t have been telling anyone what to do. No tears and no sympathy.

    1. 1

      0

He shouldn’t have been telling anybody what to do but since becoming a Judge is about being a politician instead of a wise and learned individual that’s the kind of crap Broward will continue to see while Governor Scott is in charge. Really? Donald Trump’s opinion matters?

DESTRY IS JUST A HARDHEADED JARHEAD THAT WAS GIVEN A CHANCE TO MAKE SOMETHING OF HIMSELF AND HE DID EVERYTHING HE COULD TO MAKE THINGS DIFFICULT FOR EVERYONE IN HIS COURTROOM. HIS SKILLS WERE SEVERELY LIMITED BUT HE DID NOTHING TO LEARN FROM VASTLY SUPERIOR ATTORNEYS THAT APPEARED BEFORE HIM.
HIS OUTRAGIOUSLY INCONSIDERATE ATTITUDE TOWARD EVERYONE IN MAKING PEOPLE WAIT FOR HOURS FOR HIM TO SHOW TO THE BENCH IN ORDER TO PUMP UP HIS SELF IMPORTANCE WAS REPREHENSIBLE IN EVERY ASPECT. HIS RULINGS WERE WORSE THAN SOME OF THE WORST JUDGES SITTING IN BROWARD AND THATS SAYING SOMETHING WITH THE POOR QUALITY OF JUDGES HERE.
HE WAS ONE OF THE MOST REVERSED JUDGES ON THE BENCH IN BROWARD.
DESTRY’S INCOMPREHENSIBLE OF HIMSELF IS WHAT DID HIM IN.
I CAN THINK OF NO REASONABLE EXPLANATION OF WHY THIS JARHEAD WAS EVER APPOINTED TO THE BENCH.
HE WAS TROUBLE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING.
I AM NOT SORRY IN THE LEAST WAY THAT THIS MONSTER WAS VOTED OUT OF OFFICE.
MY ONLY REGRET IS THAT IT TOOK AS LONG AS IT DID TO SHOW THIS MINDWARP THE ROAD.

Interesting that the face of Destry on his campaign sign was defaced in your picture. They are that way all over town or at least the several that I’ve seen. Wonder who’s doing it. And I also wonder if that’s not why Destry is in such a hurry to get them down and into the dumpster.
Has anybody else seen this strange occurance? There’s four of them in my neighborhood and his face is rubbed out on all of them ???

    1. 1

      0

I can’t believe it but it’s true ! Driving home today I saw two Destry signs he apparently hasn’t taken down yet and both the face part of the signs are scratched off ! LOL
Somebody has a real hardon for this guy…

  21. 2

    0

I saw one that said “Corrupt” on it by that same insurance agent. It was taken down and the one that later got the hole went up instead.

Here’s another interesting question. He’s in a robe but the signs didn’t say “Reelect” or “Judge Destry.” That must have been on purpose..but why? Was he afraid the public would put him together with all the bad press if he was “Judge Destry” as opposed to some lawyer wearing a robe trying for Judge? I don’t know. Wondering..but it seems stupidly played. There’s a lot of people who like long prison sentences that he could have reminded he was already THAT Judge.

    1. 2

      0

They should have had him pictured with a pointed dunce cap on !!! LOL.
Because that’s really how stupid and thick this guy is !!!

Mark Kushner is a complete gentleman with brains and even temperament. His loss is our loss.

Russell Thompson has great personality and can’t believe he didn’t win. He cares about the community and has no ego. His loss is our loss.

Sam Lopez is another great guy-and is super smart. He would have been a team player and asset on the bench. His loss is our loss.

Maxine Streeter-can’t believe the voters didn’t step up to the plate. There is nothing not to love. Her loss is our loss

Adam Geller-is the whole enchilada. He should host a legal tv show. He has a pure heart yet is brilliant-no pushover. He is someone we need on the bench. His loss is our loss

Brenda-she should be hailed by the legal community. She is warm, experienced, and enigmatic. She is eloquent and witty, and has the chops to reign supreme. Her loss is our loss.

I applaud all of the above-they did it with class. The bench would have been well served by all in this group. If you see them please give them kudos.

    1. 2

Brenda unfortunately has the stench of Ross attached to her and has been milking her traffic mag thing for years. She’s got a thing for motorcycle cops in goose stepping boots and cant for her life learn to cook. She’s been given the chance but just can’t cut it.
The only loss is her loss and that’s the way the cookie crumbles. She came in last just like the taste of her baklava. She was way over her head from the beginning.
The clown remains a clown. For goodness sake do something with that hair. And no more Botox.

Rhoda bought the fake blue cards and does not deserve to be in the run-off. At least the 3 others in that race have trial experience. In her 16 years of practice- Rhoda has none! (She does have experience running for Judge- this is her 3rd time.)

Sanchez v. State- reversed this week — judge Holmes case :

In fact, as the evidence disclosed, the police were stopping every black male in the vicinity of this tragic crime. To uphold the stop, in this case, would be to allow overly generic stops in the area of a crime—i.e., all black males, all Hispanic women—a practice reminiscent of Captain Renault’s instruction in the film Casablanca to “Round up the usual suspects.” The Fourth Amendment does not permit stops based on such minimal information.
Because the stop was without reasonable suspicion, the motion to suppress should have been granted, resulting in suppression of the stop. This includes the fruits of the poisonous tree, that evidence which the state obtained “by exploitation” of the illegal stop, and not evidence come at “by means sufficiently distinguishable to be purged” of the taint of the illegal search. Wong Sun v. United States, 371 U.S. 471, 488 (1963).
We reverse the conviction and remand for further proceedings. We have considered the other points raised in appellant’s brief and find them to be without merit.

        1. 1

          0

Just another legend in her own limited mind and one that panders to whatever the cops story happens to be. The funniest thing is she actually considers herself to be some kind of legal scholar !

          1. 3

            0

You’re just figuring that out ? Her courtroom resembles more of a zoo than a court of law with the entrance fee being you have to listen to her droll on about herself for 30 minutes before you even get started. It’s a song and dance routine that’s been going on ever since she took the bench.
I’ve considered running against her myself.

It’s so true. Can’t forget how she tried to provide cover for her sleazy bag girlfriend and judicial club member Gardiner as long as none of it rubbed off on her !!! They seem to all be the same these judges in Broward.

Over the last year I have seen Rebollo hanging out many times with Dan Lewis , Bill Lewis and Pritcher Campaign manager Lee Cohn at Maguires. I believe Rebollo is good friends with Kathleen McCarthy, no? First she ran against Kal then Zaccor. Then Rebollo has a long time relationship with the PBA, especially his BFF Jeff Marano. What a shock, PBA lawyer, Barbara Duffy, someone who has been seen many times commiserating with Rebollo at Maguires, goes up against the incumbent Destry. Can’t forget Rebollo pal David Salomon going against Judge Mc Carthy. Think about it, the voting percentage between Kathleen McCarthy and Judge McCarthy were identical. Looks like FOR, Friends of Rebollo, could produce 2 Judges before it is all over.

  29. 3

    0

Rebollo is a great guy-not a mean bone in his body.
Duffy is well established and had nothing to do with Destry and his behaivor on the bench. A far as the McCarthy race goes-the numbers are not identical. They are different in the various categories and one has more votes than the other. One brought in the younger and progressive vote fueled by the Wasserman & Canova Race. The other McCarthy had the older established vote. I see lots of State Attorney’s and Detectives at Maguire’s are they all part of your idiotic conspiracy plan?

  30. 0

    0

    Kathlee McCarthy 61.88
    Barbara McCarthy 59.84

The map is on the SOE website, the number of precincts won by both is identical. The percentage difference is because more people voted in the Judge’s race. Keep covering with crap about Canova and Mccarthy having an older established vote, the numbers do not add up.To his credit, Rebollo had a stroke of genius in this plan. Something his pal Dan Lewis would think up.

As for Duffy, she was an established bar fly at Maguires where Carlos hangs out 3 nights a week. Everyone knows Rebollo is the biggest PBA suck up. If Duffy wins, Rebollo should take pride in his accomplishments.

Gun-wielding homeowner confronts driver playing Pokemon Go on his property, police say
An evening drive to catch Pokemon turned into a frightening confrontation for a 26-year-old man who found himself staring down the barrel of a gun after pulling into a private driveway in Southwest Ranches, police said.

Jawad Awan, of Southwest Ranches, was playing Pokemon Go when he was confronted by homeowner Geoffrey Goldstein, who pulled out a handgun from his waistband after Awan didn’t explain why he was trespassing, according to a police report.

When police arrived, they found Awan on the ground between his BMW and Goldstein, who told officers he had become wary of people going onto his property after a series of break-ins next door.

Awan told officers he thought he was going to be shot and killed.

“Even though it’s a misunderstanding, this could have ended terribly worse,” Davie Police Sgt. Mark Leone said. “He could have been shot for playing a game.”

    DAVID PAULUS REMEMBERED
Every now and then we are brought back to earth and reminded that all of this is worthwhile and there are things more important than work.

We received this amazing comment which is now posted in the blog post about her dad:

I just found this blog after 4 years I am 13 now and I know its late but I wanted to say thank you to all the people who supported my family and wrote these things. He really was the best parent and lawyer and I still miss him everyday. I also wanted to give thanks to the people who worked at the Justice Building with my dad because you gave him the best years of his life working there and sometimes I still think he is gonna come back from there with his briefcase. I remember take your child to work day and walking around the office talking to his co workers and friends I remember looking through some files and playing with the badges he had in his office. I am really proud of the man he was and I wish he could have seen me now and helped protect the streets. He fought a long battle and actually lived longer than he was supposed to I remember the hospital visits. I also remember the people working at the Justice Building and his co workers supported us and gave us comfort and brought on DAVID PAULUS

    Elizabeth Rogers Paulus

    Dear Elizabeth:

Thank you for reading our blog and I am beyond happy that you found the blog post about your Dad which is here. Your comment was heartwarming and I guarantee you that it will bring more than a few tears to our readers’ eyes.

There are so many more qualified people who can tell you wonderful things about your Dad. But I will tell you this: he was a true hero. He was a great lawyer, and he devoted those talents to protecting the people of Miami. For that, and because of the wonderful person he was, he is remembered, and his memory is honored. And anyone who has read your wonderful words knows that your Dad would be so proud of you.
Be well, and always know you have many friends at the Miami Criminal Courthouse and the Dade State Attorneys Office.
    Keep in touch.

Attorneys for Jared Fogle, the former Subway spokesman who pleaded guilty last year to distribution of child pornography, argue in a new court filing that the parents of one of his victims are to blame for her “destructive behaviors.”

A judge in November sentenced Fogle to 15-and-a-half years in prison for his part in a child pornography scheme that included the former head of his anti-obesity charity, Russell Taylor. Taylor was sentenced to 27 years in prison.

The family of one of the victims, who was identified in court records as Jane Doe, in March filed a federal lawsuit in Indianapolis against Fogle, Taylor and Taylor’s wife, The Indianapolis Star reported. The suit seeks at least $300,000 in damages for, among other things, personal injury and emotional distress.

Related: Jared Fogle sentenced to 15.6 years for child porn, sex with minors

Fogle’s attorneys on Thursday asked that Jane Doe’s parents be named as third parties to the suit because the divorced pair “maintained a hateful and abusive relationship toward each other,” NBC reported.

The parents also abused alcohol in front of the girl, according to the lawsuit.

“Fogle has been provided with documented evidence which indicates that Jane Doe’s parents, through their actions, caused or significantly contributed to the injuries and damages alleged by Jane Doe in her complaint against the defendants,” according to the motion.

A judge has yet to rule on the motion.

Prosecutors said last year that Taylor used hidden cameras in his Indianapolis-area home for years to secretly film 12 minors. He shared some of the images with Fogle, who encouraged him to continue filming.

thanks to a few brave lawyers that creep Destry is now off the bench and out of a job that he did terribly the whole time he was there. For all the crap he’s pulled on everyone he should be required to travel the county and take down all the signs of all the judicial candidates and take them to the dump because that’s exactly where he belongs, the dump ! Very happy he out of here for good.

Really is not a good time in Bailey’s courtroom, I think he knows the writing is on the wall. I do not get why Judges make comments and do things contrary to what they should be doing almost looking for people to run against them. Then they mope around the courthouse after losing their seat knowing when they walk away from a desk everyone starts talking about how they used to be a Judge. Just the thought of that can give you a stomach ache. But I guess Bailey really brought it on himself if and when people announce against him.

Now he is in a catch 22. He wants to cut and run to civil, but at the same time now being called out he doesn’t want to look scared.

          Bailey’s a dick.

I get there at 9:05 and he asks “where we’re you at 8:30?”

Or maybe he was just worried about me at 8:30, wondering where I was? ?

Great ! Another broke lawyer who is drowning in debt wants to be a Broward judge, not unlike the rest of them who like to talk about how they’re underpaid as judges compared to what they could be making in private practice ! And then they call it public service ! Lol. What a bunch of self serving losers ! If you were worth your salt as a lawyer you wouldn’t be so desperate to get on the public dole as a judge.
Broward judges need to get their acts together and earn their keep instead of looking to the public to bale them out bankruptcy!

  37. 1

Destry doesn’t need to work so hard collecting kindling. Robes soaked in a little kerosene are an excellent firestarter. Lay it flat, spray with kerosene, then bunch it up under the hearth. The legacy and career were roasted the moment he went after Brian so the robes deserve a similar fate.

    1. 1

      1

nah, it’s pretty well settled Brian had nothing to do with it. It was Duffy and some other lawyer.

But you can understand why Brian wants to spin it in a way that makes himself look better (and to deflect the gun rage thing)

  38. 2

    0

Destry’s been working towards this eventual outcome since he was appointed. Jarheads make poor judges even by Broward standards. He’s like Daffy Duck on steroids.
Your pic of him says it all ! Keep up the good work. Half these judges have no business being judges at all. Just don’t have the knowledge or temperament to do the job.
He’s like a gandyeyed kid that thinks too much of himself.

Poor Bren. Another big disappointment for you. Think of all those you have disappointed over the years by playing Judge Judy when you’ve neglected your cooking skills to the point that you can’t even fry an egg.
The good news is you can do it all over again when you run for the roses in 2018 and bore us to death with that rediculas excuse of a haircut.
We will be looking for you. In the interim, brush up on your act, change the mumu and for God’s sake learn how to hard boil an egg.

I heard Matt thought he was going to win outright in August with strong support of the African American community.

    Weird!

All I know is Johnny McCray deserves the BACDL Gulkin for being a kick ass lawyer and for standing up to Mr. Destry.

Duffy twisted Destry’s pants into a wad and called it like it was
(See utube where she ripped him a new one).
Greenvald whimped out like he usually does and just seeks to take credit for Destry’s fall just like he always does with his customary hot air and baseless bluster.

Duffy is the one who trashed Destry, and being a very well respected lawyer and a real locally born Floridian, she has the faith of a lot of people unlike these politically motivated transplants looking for a job.

Her long record speaks for itself and is comprised of dedicated hard work and honest, ethical and straightforward representation of true ideals.

Barbara Duffy is one of the most honest, standup leaders this county has ever seen or is likely to see.

I have worked with Barbara since she graduated law school and can say unequivocally when she says something, you can count on it one hundred percent. She is honorable without all the two faced BS the rest of these judicial wannabes toss around to get a vote and then never follow through on.

I saw her tear Destry a new one and what she said hit home and you could hear people talking about it in the audience and long afterwords. Not like the rest of these judicial candidates that hide behind all this BS that you can’t criticize a sitting judge.

Barbara Duffy will win in November and Broward will have one judge that is dedicated to justice and not just padding their wallets and then resting on the laurels of some made up BS about what great lawyers they were before becoming a judge.

Most of the Broward judges couldn’t make it in private practice and seek the position for a pay raise and something like early retirement, doing little.
    She’s not one of them.

The time for Destry honoring himself came to an abrupt end brought about by his own doing. His defeat should serve as a poignant example to the other Broward judges that think they are still invulnerable.
His defiance of Honor and Justice repeatedly finally caught up to him.
I’m not sorry to see him go.

Half measures don’t work with these jokers. Every judge should be run against at the end of their respective term in order to remind them they must continue to endeavor to earn it.
That way the arrogance that has become the source of their problem in Broward won’t have a chance to set in as a permanent fixture.

If we had a chief judge that was a leader Destry would never have been allowed to continue to behave the way he did. But that’s certainly not the case with Weinstein.

When will the Pimps in Black get the message that the days of acting like arrogant angry children without consequences are over ?
Gone are the days where circling the judicial wagons against the heathens and back room deals will provide adequate defense against challenges.
Broward judges have brought it on themselves: the drunk, drugged, unethical and arrogant behavior will not go unnoticed nor be forgotten come election time. For as we have seen, the Indians have increased in their numbers and the pickens are becoming lean and the respect has dwindled to next to nothing and you will be held accountable.

Good morning. I am getting ready to go to the Mosque, and then to Church. But first a list of a few of the most interesting items discovered by the Haz Mat squad in the Chambers cleared out by Dale Ross last Tuesday after 30 years of squatting and hoarding:

    1. Suspicious powders, later determined to be Muscle Pharm Advanced Time Release Protein Combat Powder.
    2. An odd looking pump, similar to those sold in the back of Penthouse back in the day.
    3. A failed petition to rename Northern Pompano “Lighthouse Point Adjacent”
    4. Crushed rodent carcasses
    5. A Jack Lalanne brand leotard
    6. A football signed by Jimmy The Greek
    7. A dartboard with Gelin’s face in the middle
    8. Barbecue cook-off plaques denoting 4th and 5th place finishes
    9. Pictures of a young Marilyn Byrd Tobkin
    10. Shoe lifts

And a partridge in a pear tree ! LOL. You forgot the deck of play cards with pics of scantily clothed women and that old beat up conference table with his initials carved into it as well as his collection of survivalist mags ! I’m sure the whole place has to be fumigated. There was always a stale odor in his chambers.
      Last of the BBQ buffoons.

Don’t forget the ball washer from the golf course in Pompano that Dale owned part of which Spechler used to clean Dale’s balls every morning. No one sprinkled the perfect amount of Gold Bond like Spechler. Hmmm maybe that is why he is called Sprinkles

Where are the dusty files full of 80’s/90’s Judges’ embarrassing secrets that were trotted out every couple years at Chief Judge election time?

Dale always was a chump. Small dude with a big lack of self esteem problem that he took out on anybody that didn’t subscribe to his twisted sense of self importance. Bad judge but buddies Speckles and Winky Greene kept the road hoed for him for a long time. They all went underground and Speckles disappeared all together when Dale lost as Chief Judge and have been hiding in their holes ever since.
Now the scale of the last remnants of Dale’s broken machine is being scraped off for good with his departure. It’ll be great not seeing this creep lurking in the courthouse stairwells anymore.
Nobody will miss this leach. The stench is fading.

Judges in Broward are paid more than they’re worth. The hardly do anything. Courtrooms remain empty most of the time and all they can complain about is how they need more judges and how much they are underpaid ! Lol.
Weinstein’s been whining how Broward needs more judges and he does nothing to monitor just how little they do as it is. This circuit is run like a three ring circus with a do nothing chief judge that doesn’t even carry a docket himself. What does he do is anyone’s guess. About the only thing he’s done is make excuses for drunk judges and squeal for more money from Tallahassee. The guy is a disgrace.

“Put two family members on the bench”

Wait a second. The Judges you reference didn’t earn it? Daddy did it?

That’s interesting. Neither one has won a contested election you say?

        When are they up?

Burdened with the knowledge he caused his own problems, Destry now contemplates how his life is going to change.
I’ll bet it’s never entered his empty head just how many people’s lives he’s affected so negatively.

TYPICAL IGNORANT JARHEAD THAT WAS GIVEN THE CHANCE AND IT WENT TO HIS HEAD NOT UNLIKE SO MANY OTHER BROWARD JUDGES. HES PICKING UP THE PIECES NOW.

When can people announce against Bailey? There is really a swell of disappointment brewing. Is it true he told them he won’t go to civil because it will make him look weak to the wolves ready to run?

    1. 1

      0

He is not going to civil because there are at least 3 judges in criminal that have more seniority that will go there before he does. He doesn’t care, he is not up until 2020. His brother is up in 18.

Stand together or hang separately … looks like it will be hang separately! Why can’t any of these judges complete his or her term? Why is the governor and all of these crony insiders picking our judges for us in Broward County? Why must this corruption continue? It doesn’t have to … it is time for every judge (especially those who have never received one vote by the public for their positions) to receive opposition. Isn’t that what a true democracy is about? The time is now and it is a time for change!

How many Dale’s does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

    The answer: 4.

Dale #1 to push the box over so Dale #2 can stand on it and reach the nightstand where the lamp is and screw the new bulb in,

and Dale #3 to say vicious, mean things to Dale #2 while Dale #2 is simply trying to do his job,

and Dale #4 to take credit for all the Dales’ work and to swagger around with self-importance like being a light bulb changer isn’t a low-paying job any nitwit can do.

I jumped for joy when I learned of destry’s well-deserved defeat…if he has a soul, perhaps he will one day look inside and acknowledge the number of lives he destroyed…the entire families (children, parents, and grandparents)…innocent lives imprisoned along with the accused…maybe his child will commit a non-violent crime in order to feed a horrible drug habit…and as a result, be sent to hell by an egotistical, maniacal judge…karma

You say? You’ve obviously never wasted time waiting on Destry or been a the attorney that tried a case in Destry knowing your client would get the maximum sentence if he was found guilty (even if he had no priors) unless of course she/he was a rich politician. Or lost money on a client because it was the third time up and Destry set it for trial and didn’t care that the client hadn’t been paying. He was a tone deaf no it all that had an opponent last election and multiple opponents this election. We’re celebrating because it reminds EVERYONE being a judge is a public service. Not a right.

Will Destry be finishing off his term, or just calling it quits right now? If he keeps coming to work, he will probably be vindictive against everybody he thinks caused his defeat. Beware one and all.

Ross didn’t decide to leave as CJ. He was beaten out for it by Tobin. Ross was tossed to the curb after many years of poor management and excesses that would make a tyrant blush. Glad this moron is gone for good as are so many others ! Lynch was just one of his henchmen along with Spechler who was later trounced also by Tobin in his attempt to clean house of the corrupt status quo.
Revisionist hystory on behalf of Ross and croneys won’t erase the excesses of his poorly administered regime.

Where was all the outrage for this piece of judicial misconduct? All the malcontents playground bullies allow this to occur……..

    Broward county judge Barbara McCarthy
    Florida

Broward County Florida Judge Barbara McCarthy gave the son of a wealthy businessman two years probation in the killing of two British businessmen, while in another courtroom a man convicted of killing a pedestrian was given 9 years in jail.

Justice by pocketbook for a judge who was re-elected to her appointed position.
