COLLOQUY!

Brenda may still have some explaining to do.

Miami’s Bill Altfield has not cancelled the January 31st hearing.

From an email sent earlier this week:

We are in receipt of the Voluntary Dismissal filed by the Petitioner.  Judge Altfield is asking for the hearing set on Thursday, January 31st, @ 9 AM, remain scheduled. He would like to colloquy the petitioner.

What’s it all about?

Wait and see.

In the meantime, the Sun Sentinel’s Rafael Olmeda has updated his article for the upcoming print version, with additional choice comments from Ed Hoeg and John Howes, who has graciously offered his services to handle the pending Bar Complaint

Eerie parables to Judge Speiser case. Didn’t she try to wriggle out of that too and he wouldn’t let her? Then banged her with the bad faith and fees?

Brend’s lack of being able to lay a glove on First Amendment Rights i think shows an undeniable lack of understanding of the law. What this woman is doing as Broward Clerk of Courts is anybody’s guess besides keeping the flunkys in their cubicles and relying on advice that is clearly flawed in its approach to public service.

THIS IS BEGINNING TO LOOK AN AWFUL LOT LIKE FORMAN IS RELYING ON THE ADVICE OF A BIGGER IDIOT THAN SHE IS

Obviously you have had to go to the clerks office lately. Its a veritable toxic brew of morons all looking for the back door exit.

I hate to say but even the Broward Charter I’m holding says Billy Boy can take her picture

You might want to commit this to memory Bren.
You’re an arrogant nobody that slimed in on your hubby’s name in a county where geriatric voters can be bought for the price of a tooth brush and palm cards can be switched in the blink of an eye. Broward Politics can be punishing. I’d be thinking more about 2020 if I were you and cleaning up that mess of a clerk’s office.

Now give her a free pen and move on to the rest of the geezers, Gordon. You might try spending a little more time in the office as well while you’re at it. Lol

Jaab should thank Brenda Forman. Now it’s not just the Judges reading here. It’s all the Clerk employees too.

Colloquies are done in Miami in situations like this all the time. Alt field wants to cover his back. After all, he needs to make sure her decision to drop the suit is freely and voluntarily made. Nobody in Broward thought of that?

It makes sense. Ms. Forman was bothered enough to supplement her original complaint with additional sworn affidavits so why wouldn’t Judge Altfield want to make sure, under oath, that she 1) isn’t still afraid or 2) won’t simply file more at a later date to harass Gelin? It’s best for both parties. Realistically, the Broward judges could learn a lot from a man like Judge Altfield if this isn’t done already in Broward Courts.

IF BRENDA FORMAN AS A PUBLIC OFFICIAL CANT HANDLE HAVING HER PICTURE TAKEN IN A WORK ATMOSPHERE THEN SHE HAS ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS BEING CLERK OF COURTS IN BROWARD COUNTY OR ANYWHERE ELSE

He’s missing as he must campaign and simultaneously look for another job. Both take time away from work. Has he put in for time off each time he’s out campaigning and job hunting? Gordon and all the other PDO chiefs, supervisors, sycophants are aware they will be out soon.
Just like at BSO. See New Times article regarding BSO: New Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony has officially begun the process of turning former Sheriff Scott Israel’s many controversial political hires into political fires.

ALL BROWARD LAWYERS AND MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE INVITED TO HONOR THE JUDICIARY ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 25 AT 1:00 PM IN THE JURY ROOM. PLAN ON ATTENDING AND HONOR THE JUDGES OF BROWARD FOR THEIR SERVICE:

I think I’ll give this pucker a miss . It might be different if there was any real respect involved, but Broward judges are a bunch of clowns.

What kind of free slop do they get so they turn up? Denny’s takeout or a plaque with their name on it?

Seriously? Are there more then maybe 5 of the 100 Judges in Broward that didn’t get a pay raise upon getting robed?

Coral Springs doesnt want Weinstein. Why would they? He’s milked taxpayers for long enough.

Tuter’s never been the Courthouse Energy Bunny.
He doesnt even have the guts to confront problems with Broward judges.
It’s easier to make excuses and attempt to cover them up just like his predecessor Weinstein.
