      Sun-sentinel reports:

More than 20 inches of rain poured down on Fort Lauderdale in just six hours Wednesday, and more is possible, the National Weather Service Miami said. A flash flood emergency was extended into early Thursday morning for Fort Lauderdale, Lauderhill, Hollywood, Dania Beach and Sunrise, a “life-threatening situation” in which people should seek higher ground.

Because of the extreme weather, Broward schools cancelled classes and after-school activities on Thursday. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport closed about 5 p.m. and plans to stay closed until at least noon Thursday.

The roads are flooded. Tuter should really give everyone the information for the secret non flooded path he took.
Nobody should be driving that doesn’t have to. The schools are closed for a reason. The streets are littered with abandoned cars. Driving creates a wake that further floods homes.
Of course nobody expected thoughtful consideration in any decision made by him…

And driving in at 4:30??? Ok, what?

Is he kidding? It’s not the roads around the courthouse it’s the roads leading to the courthouse.

Who the hell is up to be driving at 4:30 am that hasn’t been up smoking something all night?

Maybe that explains why “none of the surrounding roads were flooded”
