Get ready for the same old scalers to appear … They never miss a chance to add their names to the list of worthless Broward Judges, headed by the biggest idiot of them all.

Wow, I’ve never seen such a lack of shit talking on this topic before. Busy week for everyone i guess?

    Well, wadda ya expect?!

Someone like Natasha Deprimo got appointed to Circuit Court last month over WAY MORE QUALIFIED applicants.

It’s the same old shit, doesn’t matter if one isn’t qualified, it’s all about who they know.
17th JNC is mostly to blame.

So many judge’s & movers/shaker’s kids just miraculously ascend to the bench. American way.

I think Michael Kaplan is a good Judge and nice person to deal with. Much better than Kaplan Sr.

Michael Kaplan is an excellent judge, & doing that TRO crap all day long & General Master stuff for years before – God Bless Him.

Judge Kaplan senior was great to deal with. He was a gentleman and really treated the attorneys with respect. He got rid of the BS cases and I enjoyed appearing in front of him.

Dozens of courageous people have ran for judge and lost. But at least THEY took the chance.

It scares true Losers like you to see them run, but boy were you relieved when they don’t win.

Sure they lost, but it was for an election to become a judge! Your type of loser, on the other hand, is a SPECIAL type of Loser. The true loser. Those who will just sit there on the sidelines, wallowing in their self pity, envious of everyone else.

This is very true. I’ve spoken with many lawyers who send in for vacancies & want to be a judge. Everyone is scared of running in elections. It should be applauded

Sad. You’re up past midnight again stirring over your jealousy of Sean Conway. Just because you lack the balls yourself to run for judge?!

Your IP address was revealed and a quick search showed who you are – one can see why you’re so envious of him. He’s definitely not as ugly as you and w a net worth of just under a million, it keeps you awake late at night.

Maybe you should get some sleep – you be looking even more unhealthy lately! And if you’re up late thinking about Sean Conway again, maybe watch some videos of the rock star w his band playing huge concert halls:

It will be the same old list we’ve seen over and over again, all looking for a handout and pay raise. Its the reason we have the bottom of the barrel sitting as judges in Broward.

BREAKING: The federal government now recommends every American wear a blindfold to protect themselves from seeing what’s really going on.

Her rulings and her choice of friends like Jenne the Felon and Ana Disbarred Gardiner were the same. Bad.

Anyone remember that stupid Blue Light Special? Like ‘I’m gonna be reasonable for a week’ and then it went back to nailing everyone? How was that fair??????

Judges like Holmes will always be a problem for Florida so long as judicial pay remains paltry. No one would suggest the legislature can or should raise the pay to law firm partner money. There’s really no way top flight lawyers making a mil a year plus will ever participate at the low rungs until late in their careers as a way of giving back. That being said a living wage of $275-$350 could attract a much higher class of lawyer. It’s not enough to lead a crazy lifestyle but it’s respectable enough that better lawyers wouldn’t be ashamed to accept it and enough to at least allow for a lifestyle that isn’t dependent on free food on the gala circuit for a night away from the TV set. For those that say the legislature cannot pay $275-350 they are shortsighted because the amount of money the taxpayers lose out on because of Judges that are routinely overturned on major cases would still dwarf the amount to pay people a respectable wage for an important job. The cost of retrying all the big cases because of boneheaded rulings would be saved by better lawyers being drawn to the Bench and so much would be saved not only in dollars but in justice too because people like the Boulis killers and others wouldn’t benefit by having their cases heard over and over after time has ravaged evidence and memories and witness availability.

Is there a way to dock Judge Holmes’ pension for the cost of new trials she caused the need for??

I was proudly named The Hot Tamale of the 17th Judicial Circuit for reasons that are self explanatory …
I tried to live up to the Honor befitting a Broward Judge.

Judges now aren’t like Holmes. She’s a relic of the bad old days. They’re mostly all gone now.

Holmes added nothing to an ailing judiciary in Broward but to serve as a megaphone for its disease …

Too bad they never forced her off the bench. She was an embarrassment to all those having to appear before her in Broward County ! I’ve never seen such a complete hormonal mess !

I am Circuit Court Judge Ilona Holmes I am armed and I sentence you to 8 years in prison for a petty offense because you’re not fortunate enough to plead your case during a Blue Light Special docket.

New rule: No one from a law school ranked below 100 should be allowed to be a Judge.

    Problems solved.

What’s funny is that you attorneys get on this blog and talk bad about these judges ( which they aren’t SHIT for the record), yet when you get in front of them. You all COWER and are yes men and yes women. It’s TRULY funny and sometimes embarrassing. Pick your poison. Either you talk with your chest out all the time or leave it at home.

At the expense of your clients. Lucky you have the Bar to cover your asses like the JQC covers the asses of the judges.

  11. 4

    3

So many of our judges don’t have the first clue about the law anyway and its up to you to tell them. No big deal if they want to give attitude. That’s what you have a record for. Otherwise if they get out of control like a number of the real idiots tend to do, you take your record and file a JQC complaint. Believe me, after a few times they settle down and do their jobs which most of the time includes keeping their mouths shut. The ones with the fat tudes learn to keep it under wraps or pay the penalty.

    1. 2

      0

NO they don’t. The JQC routinely dismisses complaints regardless of the evidence and especially when it is
Very incriminating. How many complaints re far greater violations filed against Gardiner, were summarily dismissed, before a puny one stuck?

      1. 1

        0

The Jqc is a cover up racket. Its why Supreme Court always rejects the stupid recommendations they make.

I chew them up and spit them out like they’re gum wrappers. The quality of the judges in Broward are laughable at best, pathetic at worst. Just look around. They are all judges because they couldn’t make a living practicing law.

I think Judge Casey was a successful lawyer. He’s a good judge too. The rest mostly got a giganto payraise. It’s irrefutable.

Most of them are Government Gophers who wouldn’t take or return a phone call after 4:00 pm for all the tea in China. After being Robed it only gets worse. That’s why the Courts are ghost towns every afternoon too. It’s about the money. Unless the pay is raised to high 200’s-350 it’ll never change because only lazy bureaucrats will work for crud.

I love how Lynch assumed he was gonna win, then ended up last – even behind Ruby “I ain’t finna pay my 330k student loan” green!

Also spectacular was Josh Rydell thinking he had a good chance of winning as State Atty

Why did the corner announce after Bob Sagets autopsy he saw no apparent reason for his death and that he would have to wait for toxicology reports, which is his blood work up. Now it comes out he had a brain bleed from a blow to the back of his head? The corner didn’t see anything on the back of his head or the brain bleed during the autopsy when he examined his brain? Sounds very strange to me.
