MOVEMENT

Hunter Davis is taking over Tom Coleman’s circuit felony division; George Odom is taking over Davis’ old 2nd and 3rd degree felony division. Davis will remain on the fifth floor in room 5780.

The moves appear to be housekeeping related, based on judicial experience levels …

    Excellent news.

Tom Coleman lacks the temperament to be in felony, let the family law lawyers deal with his attitude from now on

Spoken like someone without the ability to do their job. Show up and work on your cases.

Here’s a perfect example of why Coleman should not be a judge.

I was on his zoom docket earlier this week, I heard an attorney wish him a happy new year. Coleman’s response was, “if you say so!”

It’s not a matter of being prepared or knowing your cases… Coleman’s just a dick, plain and simple.

Coleman was always a prosecutor from the bench. He lacked neutrality. And he was a stiff sentencer. Good bye.

Tuter doesn’t care if the courthouse employees live or die. 38% positivity rate, we were supposed to close over 10%. He’s the absolute worst

    1. 16

      5

Nobody is dying from Omicron. You are a moron. To compare Delta positivity rate to Omicron is ridiculous. Just like the sheep who believe we were given “vaccines” similar to polio, measles or mumps. These are like flu or allergy shots. Boosters for life and you swallow it.

    2. 12

      6

Are you suggesting that we take a new vaccine every month and keep strengthening the virus to become a new variant? If wearing masks for 2 years and vaccine plus boosters aren’t slowing anything down…. does it really matter if you go to work and catch it…. the rest of the world is catching it outside of work. Go tell the grocery store and the warehouses these “criminals” are working at to avoid a life of crime and jail to shut down and than ill believe you are serious. How long do you suggest we wait? …. Any recommendations boss?

I’m suggesting that they require masks again outside of a trial witness context because that can help life return to normal and mitigate some of the risk to the employees and others who are ordered by the court to be in the courthouse. “If you’re scared, stay home” doesn’t apply to subpoenas.

        1. 10

          5

I seen others instruct others to wear a mask…. I NEVER seen someone tell someone to REMOVE their masks. That means if you are not vaccinated…. or feel your immune system is weak…. than wear a mask.

If you feel confident in the vaccine, trust your immune system, or willing to accept the consequences than it shouldn’t matter.

The whole goal is to survive the Covid…. not avoid it. Majority that I know that caught it didn’t even know that they had it until they got tested. Once you catch it your body recognizes the virus and understands how to fight it.

Nobody is “scared” enough to “stay home” unless they have a legitimate reason. Most just use Covid as an excuse. It doesn’t make sense that every supermarket, resteraunt, gym, gas station, etc. I see is packed without complaints… than you go to the courthouse and all of a sudden your concern kicks in. You catch it EVERYWHERE else. If you DONT work you DONT eat. You can die from starvation just like Covid.

          Pick your poison.

My goal is still not to catch covid. Who said I have confidence in the vaccine? Keep your mouth germs away from me.

And then says the decision is coming from the Supreme Court. Who runs the show here?

      1. 9

        3

If the Supreme Court doesn’t run anything…. than who does?

Its always been a chain in command. Instructions come from the top and works it way down ( not the other way around). Its a separation of powers that you fail to recognize. Go back to law school if you are still confused.

Bullshit, of course. The 17th and then the 4th make up their own rules, regardless what the S. Ct. or even SCOTUS says. They force appeals even of straight forward statutory law denials, and procedural Rules of Court they chose not to follow.

          1. 1

            0

I 100% agree…. The 4th DCA will deny anything. They do keep close contact via email though. The magic happens behind the scenes. Alot of emotions and “politics”. Definitely alot of bias. Of course the Florida Supreme Court doesn’t want to get involved (which sucks)

In Broward they want to prosecute cases that are weak, lack witnesses, lacks evidence, and full of reasonable doubt. They hope all the defendants are stupid enough to take a deal on a case they are innocent of or know they can beat. I always thought that criminal investigations should spend more time and resources on real crimes and prosecute the cases where the presumption of guilt is great. Alot of pending cases be revenge cases and “he say/she say”. After cross-examination they leave you more confused than before because everything is a lie and full of REASONABLE DOUBT. Why waste your time?

Especially when they have exculpatory evidence in their possession–they just have ASA’s lie about it, elicit and suborn known perjured testimony withjout correction while having contradictory and defense-favorable previously sworn testimony in their possession, expecting the defense to meet its burden to catch them.

        1. 1

          1

Exactly…. I recently had a trial where I found out the State promised NOT to prosecute a witness for perjury. Everyone knew this particular witness was lying based on prior sworn statements EXCEPT the jury…. The judge knew and wouldn’t allow me to impeach this witness. His quote: ” Justice needs to be served”. So he obviously was claiming my client was guilty (other witnesses didn’t show up to the trial). Client was found “Not Guilty” but that was shocking to me.

I imagine if Chief Judge Tuter took the time to send out thoughtful & coherent & informative emails to the Broward legal community that there might not be such a strong need for the Jaab Blog that he so clearly despises?

An attorney with 5 yrs experience and a 1st grade grasp of common manners can be a Judge. Why is it so hard for some people to behave even like a grade schooler after they’re robed?

When is the government going to admit the COVID vaccines are ineffective and not working? You can’t keep blaming the unvaccinated for the surge when the majority of the people have been vaccinated. How can they explain the number of fully vaccinated people catching the virus numerous times? The vaccine is a government joke the American people are falling for. Also the home tests are useless, I ran one under the kitchen faucet and it showed positive. After this amount of time the Americans need to start demanding answers and results.

    1. 5

      2

I agree with you. Before everyone was blaming the masks…. Now they blame the unvaccinated. Chasing our tail.

    2. 5

      3

You are an idiot. The vaccines keep people from dying. 99% of the current COVID deaths are all unvaccinated people.

      1. 8

        0

You just proved my point. How can the number of Covid cases and deaths be at an all time high when the majority of the nation has been vaccinated? If more people have it now and there are more deaths then when this started how is the majority of the vaccinated nation helping control the virus? If the vaccine works why are thousands of vaccinated people getting it over and over? The number of cases are up simply because more people are getting tested and we all know how accurate the tests aren’t.

        1. 2

          2

The deaths are all from unvaccinated people. Insurance companies are going to stop covering these peoples covid hospital stays

                2

People with three shots including the booster are dying in equal numbers. Still very low percentages compared to the common flu.

          1. 1

            0

Are you seriously stupid enough to believe that the government would ever allow that? If insurance companies don’t pay for unvaccinated Covid medical/ hospital bills how long do you think hospitals in this country will remain in existence and don’t you get that the government is making sure big pharma makes trillions of dollars off this virus?

      2. 3

        -3

99% of all Covid deaths are unvaccinated is absolutely not true. The people dying from Covid are “entering” the hospital with one or more serious health issues such as diabetes, COPD, or obesity. Just stop making shit up, educate yourself and realize this vaccine is not doing anything to stop this virus. Also if you took the vaccine good for you, that’s your business and your choice but please realize the same thought process applies to every one.

        1. 1

          1

They may have all those conditions- and they are unvaccinated. Vaccinated people aren’t dying

          1. 1

            2

I am unvaccinated, I had Covid and I did not die. Also I have a friend, a dentist that was fully vaccinated, he got Covid and he is dead. So your false belief that just because you have the vaccine you can’t die from the virus is absolutely not true.

            1. 1

              1

I think you lie about your “friend” but ok. It’s not that ALL unvaccinated die- it’s that most deaths are all unvaccinated. You are so dumb.

  9. 1

    1

How is vaccine keeping people from dying? Damn near everyone with a job is vaccinated…. the unvaccinated is a small minority…. and if they choose to NOT take it…. WHY do you care????….. It doesn’t effect the vaccinated… RIGHT????

Your logic is flawed. You are essentially saying 99% of people that died are self inflicted (suicide). How does that effect you if that was their CHOICE?….

The vaccinated are the carriers of the virus, passing it around, and mutating it. The unvaccinated didn’t inject the virus in them YOU DID. You CANT blame them.

That’s about as genuine an argument as masks are somehow the panacea to spreading the virus 🦠
