These scumbags suck at the public trough till there’s nothin left to suck. When they are about to get handed their walking papers, they’re off to save what’s left of their self serving pathetic careers to the next scam that locks them into another deep pocket to suck from. This public pimp should have never been allowed to return to the bench after her last lying scam. Guess we’ve got that other political public pimp Weinstein to thank for that.

For the last time, you can “Suck on the public teat” or you can “Eat at the public trough”, but you can’t “Suck at the public trough”!

You won’t catch me lamenting this psychological messes departure. Just one less crappy Broward judge bites the dust. About 80 more to go. Broward has the worst judges in the state. Give them all mandatory drug tests and make them punch in every morning when they are supposed to be at work. That should eliminate about half of them.

Weinstein saves another one NOT. Broward gets what it deserves. Condo dummies elect the Judges, the Judges elect Weinstein to coddle sludge like Rosenthal until it blows up in everyone’s face.

There was always something very very wrong with this chick. I used to look at her on the bench and wonder what was rolling around between her ears because she’s not very bright. Just more Broward political sludge hiding behind the honor of a robe. Broward is famous for its bad judges. She was never very convincing. Glad she’s gone.

The left over case of Manischewitz from the judicial courthouse Passover party is feeling a whole lot safer right about now.

            Dear Wow:

don’t get your panties all in a wad because the poster made a reference to an obvious fact: nearly half the judiciary is of Jewish descent. It didn’t seem like a disparaging comment – poster was just saying the Manischewitz wine was now safe.

It would be no different from writing “all the beer and whiskey from the St. Patrick’s Day office party is now safe because (fill in name of the several Irish-named judges) is no longer on the bench.” And we both know you wouldn’t raise an eyebrow over that comment

I think the judicial set is more inclined towards Mad Dog 20/20. Fortified to the max, cheaper than Manischewitz, and manufactured by Mogen David.

I guess she isn’t coming back to Criminal now. Maybe she should have listened to those who knew better and not come over until after qualifying was over. Such an awful Judge.

I guess she won’t be in a fury to make her time study padded for the next few weeks like many of the other Judges are doing.

We need more judges…………..about as much as the lower level employees don’t need a raise.

Why didn’t she go to trial? She could have taken the 5th when things got heavy and maybe kept her job. Worked for the clown that appointed her, why not give it a try?

Rosenthal was a joke from the beginning. She knew next to nothing of the law, was arrogant, stupid and her bad attitude carried over to other employees in the courtroom. It was next to impossible to get anything done. She was constantly late, lazy, foul tempered, acted like she was somehow entitled to respect she ever deserved.
Her rediculas excuse for arriving to work all screwed up after running cars off the road on the interstate, striking the gate in the judges’ parking lot 3 times before hitting a cop car and then destroying evidence from her cellphone is indicative of the kind of judge she was even by Broward standards where judges are allowed to get away with almost anything by a chief judge who is even a bigger joke.
The Ambien defense was the biggest crock of all.
She may feel she was somehow the victim in all this but the real victims were the citizens of Broward.
Her absence is absolutely no loss to a Judicary that is rampant with judges who don’t work very hard and feel they are not responsible for their own actions.
So long to another Broward Bimbo who let her overinflated opinion of herself bring her to this.

Rosenthal was many of the things that you describe, but she was not “late” or “lazy” while in criminal. She was on the bench before 8:30 every day. Many days she took the bench before the ASAs showed up to the courtroom. There was even a time when, to the ire of attorneys and her staff, she was scheduling status conferences at 4:30 on Fridays to find out what cases were going to trial the following week.

She must have had a premonition that her time in the high chair was to be limited. She did manage to squeeze in as much as she could. Prosecutors as you mentioned weren’t there sometimes because it wasn’t necessary to duplicate the function. This is another Told Ya moment for Browards poorest communities.

I wonder if the timing of the resignation has anything to do with decriminalization of marijuana around the corner?

The departure of Lynn Rosenthal should not surprise anyone, she has never been honest in her dealings with anyone throughout her professional career.
She would make one representation and then start to modify her position the closer the hearing got.
After her arrest she tried to stop publication of her photo because she was a US Attorney!
Really, they are so special, makes me sick.
The light finally went on in Rosenthal’s head the the Florida Supreme Court would demand answers and not tolerate her bullcrap evasive responses. She is a transparent phoney who brought all of this on herself.

She tried to stop publication of her pic because she looks like some kind of freak with a nose job from K-Mart ! Lol

Now if they can just get rid of that other bimbo drunk Judge Imperato at least a dent would have been made in “Broward’s Judges Hall of Shame ” where it’s ok to come to work drunk or drugged, hear cases while drunk or drugged, destroy property, destroy evidence, lie, and basically slime around without having to face any oversight or responsibility whatsoever and then to top if off, receive accolades for your behavior from an equally or worse off chief judge who himself is so far removed from reality he has to keep himself hopped up on jelly donuts just to make it thru to noon !

No loss. Judge Rosenthal is an utter disgrace but fits in with so many others sitting on the bench in Broward County. The news has remained full of Broward Judges over the years that have repeatedly shown their unworthyness to sit in judgment of others. Rosenthal was never a good example of what a judge should be and when caught red handed made up excuses that only a moron would fall for. She’s not fit to work at a truck stop slinging hash let alone wear the robe of Justice. She can now pass into obscurity where she belongs. These jokers chit in one valley and move on to the next thinking that they don’t have to answer for their actions while pompously maxing out every defendant that come before them for less. Hope she’s enjoyed her little experience as a judge because this could only happen in Broward where the voters are as grossly retarded as some of its judges. All it takes is to buy these condo commanders a tooth brush to get elected and it’s a free ride to a fat pensionville !

This leaves Imperato with her multiple DUI arrests and ankle bracelet! And the outragious thing is she’s still sitting as a judge after being moved to civil by Weinstein. What the hell is going on in this place ?

Pop another Ambien, Lynn and argue you were sleepwalking when u resigned and want your job back as long as your pension stays intact !!! You are about as laughable as laughable gets. Even by Broward Judicial Standards you get the prize. At least up to now. You may not be able to hold onto that for very long either with the way judges are crapping out around here.

MISLEADING AND INCOMPLETE RESPONSES. JUST ONE MORE WEASEL GETS HER DUE. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SHE’D HAVE LEARNED SOMETHING FROM THAT WHACK GARDINER. I GUESS SHE IS AS STUPID AS SHE LOOKS.

Check out the list of State Employees and see what top management is scooping out of the PD’s budget. Pay close attention to the double dippers bringing down over 130 grand for the second time. Then ask why you can’t make your student loan payment.

Too bad the Supreme Court doesn’t play Queen for a Day. Princess Rosenthal could have used it. Too bad for her the Supreme Court is as hard on Judges who play games with official investigations as she was on poor defendants. So sorry, not , no tears lost, my sentiments to all those poor people sitting in prison on bullshit vops courtesy of Rosenthal.

Rosenthal saw the axe swinging her way and like most bad Broward judges skipped out on her own funeral ! This is one Bad Broward judge nobody will miss. There’s been a long string of them. Me thinks the Axeman is not finished yet.

Good riddance. No Zanny Queen belongs on the bench deciding other people’s fate ! Not even in Broward! She shouldn’t even be allowed to get behind the wheel of a car !

Yesterday was the high watermark for Jaablog.

    Congratulations Bill.

Bill broke this story from go and the rest of the media merely copied what Bill discovered. This blog has the first photos of the scene. It broke the story about Rosenthal’s husband trying to get into her chambers while she was getting processed at the jail. Furthermore, it was Bill who pushed and pushed to discover if there were other meds on Rosenthal or in the car. Then when it Bill’s pressure thereafter to discover the medications Rosenthal had on her, as she tried to hide it from the public, ultimately admitting to what those bills were. Bill also exposed my other inconsistences and lies that were being told through this mess.

Bill, congratulations, you bagged a Judge. You persevered where the public and the courts failed.

Looks like it’s time for another embarrassing rant by Sir Jar McLawrence about how those “greedy coons” decided to support an embattled defrocked judge over His Highness. Vegas has laid 5 to 1 odds that His tirade will begin by this afternoon. 10….9….8….7….

I am so happy to see this development. Almost all of us try hard to do the best possible job for the public. It’s hard work but rewarding. Inevitably ugly events like this occur and are compounded by the worst imaginable behavior. It makes everyone look bad and ultimately erodes the public trust. This person has disgraced her profession and all of us doing the best we can to serve the public honorably. At least now a step forward has been taken.

Am I the only that’s noticed that every judge Jahra has challenged has gone down in flames? He can’t win an election for ish but damn if he doesn’t have the balls to challenge the judges we all know aren’t worth an ish. He’s gotten rid of Seidman and Rosenthal. Damn! Can we recruit this dude to run against Destry or McCarthy or Levenson or Rodriguez-Powell or ….hell, just close your eyes and pick just about any broweird judge.

Hey “Jahr’s Nuts”…are YOU nuts? Why in world would world you want someone to run for judge who has lost twice because he makes racist dumb-ass public statements? Don’t you think we can do better than that knucklehead? Just because the guy keeps butting his flat head against the electoral wall doesn’t mean he should get a black robe when he is clearly an unelectable meathead!

Hold on now…Destry was the only judge to stand up against those trough-feeding attorneys (Ira still) who try to bill OVER the JAC fee limit on court-appointed death cases.

When people say they dislike Destry, they always tell me it was because he ruled against them on something …uh, yeah your motion was lame and deserved denial

      1. 0

        0

Disagree. Allow me to begin with the extensive experience I have had litigating before Destry! Anyone qualified defense litigator who knows him will also know that he cares not about the law as much as flexing his judicial muscle and putting on a show for the heavily packed courtroom! He’s been reversed countless times and Fein my experience ignores the law when his doesn’t serve his ego- manical agenda! If he is out to nail ur guy , he will nail him, legit presidence or not!

I remember a few years ago Judge Julie Koenig quit. I thought she was a good judge but one morning on motion calendar followed a lawyer trying to recuse her (thanks) saying all kinds of sh.. for the record. My guess is she, of Waterbed City riches, just finally said who needs this? I would have. Read Lynn is wealthy, might she think the same? Ye reapeth what Ye soweth.

Gardiner, Pollack, Watson, Imperato, Rosenthal.. what’s the deal with all these female judges in Broward biting the dust the last couple years?

    1. 0

Obviously change of life issues involved here. Hormonal changes can really be hard on these jokers. Haven’t they heard of hormone replacement therapy?

Most of these “poor” judges are appointees. Never earned it and take it for granted. All appointed Judges should get opposition and become humbled. They are not true “encumbants” and should face the voters of Broward. Most are Republicans and if male would go down in flames. Winners in an election with opposition are typically better judges. Not all but for the most part better.

    1. 0

actually, watson and pollack were elected not appointed, so your logic is flawed. also it appears the problem is with women: rosenthal, watson, imperato, pollack, gardner, julian….

One word before I begin: SKANK ! This little blond bimbo airhead lied to the cops, lied to the JQC, lied to the press, mislead, left out pertinent facts, destroyed evidence, had her husband raid her office (looking for what is still unknown) tried everything her little pea brain could conceive of to keep her cushy job as a Broward judge where she could milk the public coffers for everything she could get and then when she figured out despite her best efforts to circumvent justice she was going to get hammered resigned rather than get what was coming to her ? What kind of people are serving as judges in Broward ? I hope the BAR nails this little twerp to the floor and takes her law license for good. She is the definition of BROWARDS WORSE JUDICIAL NIGHTMARE ! She needs to serve as an example to the rest of these drunk bimbos. She should be forced to do at least 200 hours of cleaning toilets at Century Village as part of her greasy deal with the BAR and never practice law again. How many of these hypocrites does this make now ?

It’s a wonder, isn’t it that Imperato is still on the bench trying cases. How can the Supreme Court permit someone who’s been convicted of a crime to remain in judgment of others. This goes back a long ways. Gene Garrett who was a respected circuit judge wound up on the 4th DCA until he got arrested for shoplifting and then he was gone. Imperato gets busted, goes to trial, gets convicted, and she’s still here?! WTF!!! She is the TIPSY COACHWOMAN.

  29. 0

They drink! They drug! They work trashed! They DUI! They smoke pot in the park! They send innocent drivers to the hospital! They lie under oath! They destroy evidence!

And we’re not talking about the defendants!

  30. 0

    0

This news doesn’t look good for Imperato. The Supreams have made it known, and thankfully so, that the gig that is Broward’s Judges is not going to be tolerated any more. Rightfully so. These clowns have pushed the envelope too far too long. She needs to put her resume in at Hooters !

  31. 0

Rosenthal could have told the truth and probably saved herself, but like so many other Broward judges she couldn’t bring herself to be totally honest and forthright. Anybody can find themselves in a difficult situation but the proof of character is in how you face the truth. When the Florida Supream Court found her answers to be incomplete and misleading and sent it back to the JQC it spelled the end for Rosenthal and her resignation proves it. So many Broward judges find it impossible to face the music. What I want to know is what her husband was doing in her chambers after she was arrested. What was he there to retrieve and why has this not been pursued or reported on.? There’s still a lot of unanswered questions.

    1. 0

      0

You can rest assured that she cut a deal with the JQC in return for her overdue resignation from the bench , they may reccomend that the Bar leave her license intact!

  32. 0

Finally Rosenthal does what she should have done months ago. Nobody will miss this whacko. Only hope the Bar does what it should do and put her out of business for good. She had no business being on the bench to start with.
