Told you Usan would be saying so long to trough feed. Couldn’t happen to a bigger jarhead. Now he’s gotta go make a real living.

Usan was running at a handicap. Name appeared last on the ballot and he wasn’t particularly popular in courthouse circles.
This election more than anything else shows incumbent broward judges are vulnerable.

Not so fast. There could be a lot of ballots to count. He was strong in early voting. The mail-ins may have been educated voters too.

741 votes..how do you call that “too close to call”? I call that a W

This is electronic voting for fuck’s sake – not like the days of ‘hanging or pregnant chads’

Looks like the voters have spoken.

Oh come on, if he asked for a ‘recount’ that would look so pathetic …this is ‘electronic’ voting!

it was already bad enough what he did to his own reputation with the stunts he tried in the campaign to keep his job.

JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT THE DAY OF JUDICIAL INCUMBENTS TAKING THE PRIZE IS ON THE WANE
ALL BROWARD JUDGES SHOULD BE RUN AGAINST WHEN TERMS EXPIRE
    END BROWARD JUDICIAL CORRUPTION
    END CAREER JUDGES

    Dear Judge Kaplan:

I was always with you. I did write Judge Usan a check from my business account, my personal account, my wife’s account, and my children’s education accounts, but there was pressure and I have cases in there I’m sure you understand. But I was always with you and I swear I voted for you. I’m here for you forever.

    Signed,

    Talking about results, FYI.
The JQC filed the notice of voluntary dismissal in the Contini case August 03. The FSC still has not signed off on it.

From what we have seen, they usually sign off on something like this within about 1-2 weeks.

Maybe they are still going to summon him?

    BillyBoy:

With reference to your consistent efforts to destroy the career of Judge Diaz, there can be only one conclusion: You are a pathetic failure.

    Outside of harassment:

Your written “journalistic” manipulations have meant nothing.
Your hounding of the staff and family of Judge Diaz has meant nothing.
Your efforts on behalf of his opponent, Michael Heise, including the “journalistic” $500 contribution, have meant nothing.

Didn’t the crushing defeat of Mr. Heise make all of this clear to you?

Ok Bob. Did you enjoy being in the swealtering sun begging for votes? Did you enjoy having to use your money in this campaign? It was great seeing pictures of you sweating and pretending to be nice. To think- if you had actually been nice- you wouldn’t have had to spend the time and money you did to keep you job. Hope you had a great summer. Lol

I agree. Bob was very rude to me in front of a client. That is why I voted against him and asked everyone I know to vote against him. Why it is so hard for judges to understand that all they have to be is nice. Rule against us but there is no reason to be confrontational.

Answer: Because these type of Judges, like Diaz and Lee, have multiple personality disorder. They have been victims before, and now have the absolute power to be dominant.

Please Bob- get off the blog and attend to your docket. I promise you no one that has to appear in front of you is glad you won. Lol. But they are all glad you had to behave at least for a while and had to use your money and time to sweat like a pig all summer!

    So what have we learned….

    Afrik.. $ and TV works
Kaplan… its all about the name
Diaz….good to have a loyal army
Kollra….you can beat a jewish name with a good campaign
Alspector….Shotwell bad name in todays world
Casey…jewish female with great name with no campaign can be beaten by a good campaign.
Davis…..Sokoloff is a terrible name. I mean really anyone else could have beaten him
Lee….actually campaigning is helpful and a good confederate name wins over a german one

There is a lot of blame but never any acceptance of personal responsibility alas therein lies the problem.

And Brenda “Makes Miriam Oliphant Look Competent” Snipes just found about 10,000 more absentee ballots and counted them.

This now puts Judge Kollra out of recount territory and also puts Judge Usan ahead of Richard “Beat My Wife Please” Kaplan by about about 336 votes.

    Other races tightened as well.

    That is all.
