About time. Sad that the only reason its really being done now is because of resource shortages. This should have happened twenty years ago or more if we had a State Attorney that was forward looking and possessed the leadership qualities necessary to actually lead instead of grandstand on the law and order spiel to get re-elected !
Term Limits would go a long way to keeping these old dogs from sticking around forever.
Its good to see Satz Shatz finally being put to bed along with his lackeys at last.

Still. HP never should have let this man hang around. Or his Bimbo Buddy. Bad for morale. Bad for accountability.

Hit the nail on the head and can’t agree more. Get rid of Satz already. He is not needed.

Him staying on is nothing short of an award. He shouldn’t get an award. He convicted innocent people. He is the poster child for what needs to be changed in the American justice system. He needs to be let go.

I asked Ralph Ray so many years ago why no program alternative to drug cases (before even blessed drug court) & he said scant resources. Well let’s ruin some lives then, eh??

This guy was arrested for marijuana AND THEN prosecutors asked for a bond. If he had been released he would still be alive. Wasn’t Pryor going to eliminate cash bond on certain cases? Or was that BS just to get elected. I can’t remember cause he changed his positions all the time–only Joe campaigned on eliminating cash bond from Day 1. So sad.

You kept a lot of secrets when it came to your attorneys. The worst is when you let some of them get away with abusing their so called girlfriends! That office is good on bribing one anther to keep their jobs!Since when do you keep people who beat on others? If it was me you would have a law suit against you and the ones who did damage to these woman. Don’t deny it because plenty of us know!

When one of the ASA’s got in an ethical jam, they’d usually transfer and promote them. Usually they’d fire them if there was an arrest except for the L’oreal makeup mess.

All ASAs aren’t equal. That was the old ways. Mr. Pryor will remedy the corruption of old. But Rome wasn’t built in a day. Patience is urged.

Why has he kept John Countryman? He has been accused twice of harassment. The office is aware of this- he is a lawsuit waiting to happen and the office is on notice about him. Seems like such an easy choice to make. I don’t understand why keep him around?

John Countryman. They left him in case filing. He is a lawsuit waiting to happen. If he harasses one more person- they can say- he has been accused twice. The office is on notice about it. It really doesn’t make sense. Why keep such a liability around?

I remember Countryman and Mike always going lunching. Is he the one running the office now?

Why did Satzie bend over backwards for some messed up Asa’s and others got treated appropriately and axed when they crossed all lines? Politics maybe? Hard to figure.

Big Bad Bailey’s loss was a blow to Tuter’s plans to clear the backlog, I’d say. He’s got so many Judges in Criminal that don’t try cases. (Everyone knows which ones). Big Bad Bailey was always there to pick up the slack. Does Tuter expect the lazy Judges to magically start being trial Judges upon the end of the Pandemic? That won’t happen. The lazy ones can’t start on time to begin with. And Big Bad Bailey can’t be a Senior Judge either. Is Tuter going to pay to bring back Seniors like Lazarus and Porter to do all the work? Or is he going to shut down the entire new tower and bring back anyone with Criminal experience to cover for his lazy Criminal Judges? What happens to all the new tower cases? There’s never been judicial rotation. How many even know how to try a Criminal case? Can Tuter? This’s a big mess alright.

It’s why they keep electing him. The JQC needs to pull all the ZOOM to see how many Judges have been working since last year.

Judge Levenson. He’ll be leading the charge. Making good deals. Forcing the chicken ASA’s at the State to step up. Bet it.

What Judge Bailey did to the paralyzed gentleman with the dog was low (even for the 17th).

So does this stop the illegal searches and the fake probable cause: “i smell weed” ? Its definitely going to be a new lie/trend on the PCA. How are they going to find the guns now? …

“He appeared nervous, based on my experience 😅, it was for my safety “.

Its going to be alot harder getting to do those “inventory searches”.

The weed arrest is good if it comes with another charge. Nobody said which charge has to come first.

Why are they still prosecuting possession of 24+ grams as a felony? How is that consistent with what they’re doing with misdemeanors? So fng stupid.

Because Blacks have to be taken off the streets to keep the money flow to the so called legit White businessman drug dealers.

Oregon has it right – drugs are not a criminal problem save for the easy pickins’ life-ruining industrial complex such morals laws create. M.Y.O.B. We’d be in a much better, safer place.

LEADERSHIP QUALITIES ARE RARE AMONG BROWARD JUDGES

COUNTY COURT JUDGE ROBERT DIAZ WAS FINED, SUSPENDED FROM THE BENCH AND REQUIRED TO ADDRESS LETTERS OF APOLOGY TO ANOTHER BROWARD JUDGE AND THE HISPANIC BAR ASSOCIATION BY THE JUDICIAL QUALIFICATIONS COMMITTEE

HIS PRETENSE OF JUDICIAL INTEGRITY IS HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE

Oh please. He’s been in county for decades. Eventually they would have to recognize him simply because he’s still there. He’s done nothing great. Not a hater it’s just a fact. Plenty have complaints about how he runs his courtroom. He does keep getting elected so I guess that’s an accomplishment.

With his background being a County Judge is probably a big deal. More power to him. He could have aimed high. But not everyone is Alex Hanna or Berta Soto.

Kevin Desir should have never been in custody. Pryor ran on a platform that he isn’t making good on. He kept satz. He kept Sarahnell. And he kept bond for non violent felonys. Kevin desir was killed in hands of law enforcement while being held in a bond for weed. Let that sink in. This memo is an attempt to deter y’all.

ACCORDING TO JUDGE ORLANDO AND A PROSECUTOR THE STATE IS TESTING MARIJUANA FROM A JUVENILE MISDEMEANOR CASE WHICH HAS NO OTHER CRIMINAL CHARGES INVOLVED AND THE CASE HAS BEEN CONTINUED A COUPLE OF TIMES STATING EACH TIME IN COURT THAT THE MARIJUANA IS STILL BEING TESTED AND IT TAKES MONTHS. SO WHO IS LYING???
HAROLD PRYOR??? WHY ISNT THE PUBLIC DEFENDER DEFENDING THIS?? ALL I SEE IS INJUSTICE
