TWO MORE FOR TUTER

Kathy Pugh sent the following email message this morning, after early voting tallies for Jack Tuter’s unopposed run for a new term as chief judge were satisfied:

I am pleased to announce that Chief Judge Jack Tuter  has been re-elected by a majority vote of all active Judges for another two year term beginning July 1, 2019.

Congratulations!

Coming Soon – Is Jack Tuter Broward’s newest chief judge for life?

WHAT??!!??!! It should have been me.

I demand a recount! Yet another celebration cake wasted.

Restore honor and integrity to the chief judge. Elect RICHARD BRIAN KPLAN for Chief Judge. Ensuring liberty and delusional behavior for all.

Good job Jack. Now you just have to keep them from burning the building down for another few years and then it’s a trophy like mine and a soft landing in Probate

Moving forward, Jack? You have both feet stuck in the primordial goo. When are you going to get with the rest of the circuits and institute Judicial Rotation to stop what has been come to be known particularly in Broward as Judicial Butnout Syndrome?
How many more judges in Broward have to hit the skids and melt down before you realize the problem?
It’s not your job to keep these tatertot judges too comfortable in their divisions as they learn nothing and instead become nasty little dictators.
Isn’t it time you stop concerning yourself with getting re=elected as chief judge and do something that brings the Broward Judiciary into the 21 Century instead of playing judicial politics? God knows we’ve seen enough of that with your predecessors.
How about getting off your duff and doing your job. Broward continues to have the most poorly performing judges in the state.
You’re only serving as an enabler to a bunch of burnout dancing dwarfs with very little knowhow and even less desire to learn the broader scope of law.

O Jack. From here, elevators at busy times are still a disaster (call Palm Beach, they know what they are doing), cell phones on lower floors are worthless, and the handicapped and elderly are still dumbfounded by the crossover walk from the parking garage to new courthouse.

It’s shameful to see one BACDL H Gulkin winner after another gasping for air and reaching for their nitro pills in the middle of that ill designed walkway. It should be leveled.

The ramp is an affront, as is the cafeteria situation. It may be a County issue but the Chief Judge has shown a disappointing lack of initiative to cure either. The citizenry deserves to be treated with respect, including those supboenad for jury duty who take time off from their busy days to serve and ought to be able to have a cup of decent coffee and some breakfast after working through the maze and lines to get to the jury room in the first place. The issue with the ramp and special needs people is entirely another story, and an affront to decency.

Tuter has done nothing in his tenure to improve the situation with the judges here in Broward. He’s unfortunately just riding the donkey for the clownshow that continues to be the Broward Juiciary.

How can any of you complain? No one ran against him because of the following: 1) not enough lawyers knew the position was up; or 2) Broward is full of a bunch of narrow minded losers that are too busy bending over and taking it in the ass by a bunch of power hungry assistant state attorneys that would be better positioned on a pole than in a courtroom.

    1. 7

You forgot stupidity, ignorance of the law, lack of patience, lack of punctuality, downright mentally hampered in most cases, unbelievably lazy, and have absolutely no ingenuity. That’s why most Broward Judges hold on to the job for dear life for lack of being able to practice law successfully.
Otherwise they’d have to go back to work and make some real dough.

As Broward judges it was just a lot easier to let the moron have the wheel. The less we have to do, the better. 3 days a week is stretching it when it comes to our attention spans.

At least they have respect for Judge Tuter. The meltdowns are fewer and farther apart now. With Judge Ross I remember it was like every time the newspaper was opened another one of them was there. They had no respect or fear for him. They carried on like monkeys in a zoo with no regard for anyone.

    1. 7

      1

Who says we’re monkeys? As judges, we have the right to do anything we want including going pantless at judicial conferences and smoking weed 30 feet from an elementary school and calling minorities Non Human.
It’s always been that way for judges in Broward.

      1. 12

Most of them couldn’t make 100 a year as attorneys too. Pull their applications and look it’s right there. The elected ones are worse probably (and no application). Then they act mean and angry all the time at the people that pay their salary and campaign fees namely the successful attorneys that don’t rely on the State for a paycheck. Their so jealous and insecure they go splat every so often and then want to blame the Sun Sentinel or Jaab for printing about it.
They should pay Judges $400,000 a year so good people will apply. The law firm people won’t be interested but at least the talented sole practitioners may decide to help out for a smaller pay cut. Then the State would save money because they could cut the judiciary in half because a good lawyer/Judge could run three dockets in the time one lazy political hire phoning it in and creating more problems with their pissy attitudes can get through one.

        1. 0

Maybe…..$400 is a decent chunk of change…..they would be scared to lose it….risk averse rulings

They’re paid too much for what they do now. More than half of Broward judges work 3 days a week and leave after lunch.

I was very successful in private practice. I earned almost $800.00 per month after I left the AG’s office. I gave up the glamor of private practice to serve the community with regional. Only the very best can hope to land a job with ORCC.
Soon, I will give this up to serve as Clerk of Court.

Vote RICHARD BRIAN KAPLAN for Clerk. Ensuring liberty and a unearned paycheck for all.

go ahead. make fun of someone who died from cancer. I did not care for her as a judge, but let it go man.

Most of the posters here are “a breed all their own” – jealous and pathetic haters.

You complain about the Broward Judiciary, make up lies, pin the wrongdoings of some on all the rest. In fact, you are obviously someone who only dreams of a judicial salary and are consumed by self-hatred and jealousy due to your own lack of professional success.

Maybe God has “other plans” for you too, or your spouse or your child. I wonder if you would find our mirth at their death as humorous as you think your comments here are.

  25. 2

I agree. Making light of a tragic early death is wrong. But bringing in this person’s family is kind of the same thing. Stopping to the same level. That’s not right.

  26. 17

She was obviously a very unhappy woman and sought solace in her faith, but she sure wasn’t a very nice person on the bench and unfortunately found some kind of pleasure making everybody else as miserable as she was. It’s too bad what happened to her, but i don’t see see that as redeemable when it came to her behavior as a judge. She probably shouldn’t have ever sought the position.
If you’re going to tout your religion as some kind of moral superiority, I think should strive to live that way in your own life.
Just my two cents on the subject after reading the above post.

WE ALL PASS ON WHEN ITS OUR TIME FROM SOMETHING
IT DOESNT MEAN YOU HAVE TO REWRITE HISTORY IN REMEMBRANCE

    SHE WAS CRAZY

  28. 11

    0

It’s a terrible thing what happened to her but her example on the bench was something that should have been cured by judicial administration before the JQC was inevitably summoned. It would have been better for all involved, including her Honor, if she had been moved from Criminal once her unsuitability to her assignment surfaced. It would have also precluded the stress of a re-election campaign against her by Mr. Malove. Unfortunately judicial administration has a tin ear to criticism of Judges, particularly when it evolves from practitioners. This phenomenon often ends up causing many problems for all involved when it could be avoided simply by not adopting a cynical and defiant “line in the sand” and “us against them” mentality concerning the judiciary and the public it serves.

She couldn’t handle it from the beginning. Her insufferable attitude was noticed by everyone from the beginning. She was simply not suitable to sit as a judge.
She was getting some bad and arrogant advice from a few of the other judges too. Typical Broward Judge crap that got her into deeper and deeper water.
All the praying for her in the world couldnt help her in the end. It was too bad, but it is what it is. You have to be accepting of God’s love. Not arrogantly in opposition to it.

  30. 15

    0

From the list of political pontificators sitting on the bench in Broward, Aleman was not one of the noteworthy ones who was appointed. Never cared too much for her knowledge of the law or her bad attitude. She should have been removed from the Criminal Division at first sign of meltdown. Its a repeated pattern among Broward judges who can’t cut the mustard and then make it much worse by adopting a bad tude towards everyone who appears before them.

Judicial pimps deserve some downtime. The argument that this pimp offers is as short as his durk. If he was so successful in private practice as he tells the story, why would he want to be a judge for chump change? He’s full of it.
