YOU MAKE THE CALL! (TUTER COURTROOM NAMING EDITION)

Should the County Commission name the new Ceremonial Courtroom in honor of Jack Tuter? Should Tuter accept the honor, if awarded?

It should be named in honor of someone who has passed or is no longer on the bench. Accordingly, it would be able to be used as a campaign tool

Exactly. And wouldn’t he be disqualified from presiding over cases in a courtroom with his name on it??

A better question is just how many cases if any does he actually preside over. He spends most of his time posing for photo ops and making up excuses for bad judges. The guys a useless fop.

Tuter is a tool alright. The guy has done nothing but politic all day long since taking office. If an time audit were ever done for Broward Judges, it would come up mostly zeros.

How about Michael Satz? He’s been dead most of his life, even if he is walking.

I think they should have a Tooty Trophy for the most useless Chief Judge in Broward County history.
I’m sure this schmo would get a thrill out of it.

Surprised?Today they banned Critical Race Theory AND diversity in Bar seminars. It’s in the newspaper.
This type of insensitivity is to be expected.

Maybe they feel like he needs propping up because he’s always criticized here and in the real world?

This man is most unremarkable. To skirt the rules and make an exception for the patently unexceptional makes a precedent to be avoided. The bar is low enough already.

      Let’s see:
DCA Carole Taylor, BobbY gunther, Polen. May or Damoorgian.
      District Cohn, Demetrioulaes, Singhal.
      Broward Fogan (started Drug Court)/L Wren (MH Court national leader)/Miette B (1st woman Chief)/Finkelstein (MH/Recovery/TV personality)/Shailer/Satz.

It shouldn’t be named for the living at all. But if it is to be there are many who have distinguished themselves above and beyond Judge Tuter.

Don’t forget that Pryor and Weekes are the first elected African-Americans to bigger jobs than the chief judgeship. They should be considered as well. Sheriff Tony for that matter too.

PROPOSITION DEAD ON ARRIVAL – LAUGHABLE

TUTER HAS SERVED ONLY AS THE HEAD CLOWN OF A CIRCUIT KNOWN FOR ITS DEPLORABLE JUDICIAL ANTICS AS REFLECTED BY THE NUMBER OF JUDGES DISCIPLINED BY THE JUDICIAL QUALIFICATIONS COMMISSION.

THE 17TH JUDICIAL CIRCUIT REMAINS THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA UNDER A CHIEF JUDGE EQUALITY AS LAUGHABLE

Another useless PR stunt. When are we going to get definitive date for the opening of the Courthouse. When are we going to see the plan?

If CJ Tuter spent as much time concerning himself with doing his job as he does slapping himself on the back, we would have a much more efficient judiciary.
