It’s interesting to note Fearless Leader JT quit in May and this happened in April.

That man’s name should be stripped from the courthouse walls toot sweet.

Let’s say Tuter had won gold in the Decathlon at the Olympics and had actually achieved some great things in his career (which he didn’t – even his bail reform’s in the gutter) — his ‘handling’ of Parkland and that Tween Judge’s mishandling of it is enough to scrape his name off the Courthouse so that decent Browardians don’t have to see it. That trial was the solemnest thing that could ever be contemplated and he let it devolve into another 17th Circuit disaster that the families and citizens of Broward did not deserve.

Chief Judge Phillips has a clean record. All of these JQC incidents happened under former Chief Judge Tuter. Let’s support Chief Judge Phillips to Make 17 Great Again.

It’s hubris. So many Broward Judges. I mean impersonating the IRS? Representing someone in court? Farmer not working half the year? Why is there zero oversight from Admin? Moon campaigning in court? Did the Judge who saw Clermont do all this even report it?????

The so-called punishments are part of the problem. This warrants removal. As did the IRS thing. The Supreme Court has gone soft and the message has been heard by those who would dare push the envelope in the first place.

Can they carpool to Tally for their Reprimands to save gas? Will 17th charter a bus for them? Will the Reprimands all be done at once like a group plea colloquy to save time? If there’s trials can they use a sole jury to save time as well?

It’s true. The worst offenders never make the JQC list. They’re just bounced out on their ear. There’s probably been another 20 robed reprobates throughout the years. Broward’s a disgrace. I don’t know how much can be blamed on the Chiefs but it’s a factor. In sports they fire the manager though. It’d be a start if Weinstein and Tuter had been canned as soon as things went south but it didn’t happen and the problems festered with those milquetoasts at the helm. Anyways there’s something that’s always been wrong here and it never gets better.

Maybe if everyone stopped kissing judge’s butts all the time and stopped giving them awards and banquets for simply doing their easy jobs then maybe they wouldn’t get so gosh darned arrogant and black robey and think the rules don’t apply to them and they can do anything they want and then do all this stupid stuff assumin they bother to show up to work to begin with.

If he was as (un)successful as most Broward Judges before they got on the Bench the rate would probably be $49.99 an hour but $24.99 with the coupon from the Century Village Pennysaver.

The 17th Circuit should be subsumed into the 15th Circuit and run by them. It’s very professional there. They could get rid of half the Judges in Broward and still be more efficient. It’s too political and self serving in the 17th.

Broward County may be the worst judicial area in the history of the USA, but that’s probably not a manageable idea given the size of the area and population.

The pathetic nature of Broward’s Judiciary has always redefined scale itself and yet nothing has ever been done to end the corruption, incompetence and nepotism that plagues its broken system of Justice.
When incompetent Chief Judges set the tone of an already decrepit Judiciary full of inept jurists whose only real priority is to get re-elected by whatever means necessary as it is in Broward, this trend is inherently obvious. With no oversight, Broward continues to sink into the abyss of mediocrity and ineptitude.

Rosenberg using a magnifying glass during Pres. recount, as rest of country is astounded at how bass ackwards Broward was.

Still is way behind the times:
archaic ct reporting, hostility towards using Zoom

Im guessing the no digital is protection for these silly jurists. The cost of stenography is too much to justify in County since additionally a Governor doesn’t give a rip about a small time judge. But it’s different in Circuit so what I’m thinking, is that having every word and aside of the real judges captured with tone and inflection that can go public real quickly, is something they worry about up north because it’s already so goofed up here.

I may be from Broward County but I have every right to attend this judicial conference as any other member of Florida’s judiciary.

        WOULD BE ACTUAL NEWS:

“BROWARD JUDGE HOLDS COURT FULL DAY”

“BROWARD JUDGE ELEVATED TO HIGHER COURT”

“BROWARD JUDGE WINS ELECTION WITHOUT VIOLATING ETHICS CODE”

        “BROWARD JUDGE PAYS FOR DINNER”

“BROWARD JUDGE HANDLES MEDIA CASE WITHOUT SHILLING FOR A TV SHOW”

Its pathetic how these Broward judges go running around acting like they are a class all their own when most of them were loser attorneys desperate for a job that requires little hours and even less knowledge of the law. And you wonder why Broward leads the way in disciplined and defrocked judges who were never the cream of the crop but instead represent the bottom of the barrel?
Its no secret that most of these pimps get it caught in the zipper given enough time.
