From an email sent at 11:38 this morning by Lindsay Chase, BACDL President:

… I have attached the final letter that was sent to Judge Tuter regarding Judge Scherer’s conduct during the Nikolas Cruz sentencing hearing. 

A meeting has been scheduled with Judge Tuter for next week to address the contents of the letter. Updates will be forthcoming. In addition, I am working on drafting a Motion for Recusal that I will be sharing with members ...

    She’s definitely not moving. There wouldn’t be any make-up meetings necessary if it’s moot.

      Does that mean she doesn’t have to put that much cake in her face to resemble the joker or there won’t be any future meetings.
      She’s a tough woman has very thick horsey skin she can ride this one out

    What’s to discuss in the letter ? It’s a given that Tooty isn’t going to do anything by smooth this over because he takes his orders from Bill Scherer, always has and always will. He’s a puppet Chief Judge. He owes his good fortune to Scherer.

    Thanks, Bill. She needs to go anywhere but Criminal. We can’t count on BACDL to do anything.

    Anybody know if County Judge Diaz seat is open seat? My friend is thinking of filing early. Yes? No? Is he able to run?

    So disappointing. We are meaningless cogs in a stupid wheel feeding the prison machine.
    Hopeful that someday Liz wakes up and realizes how harmful she is and has been. Just kidding. That would be delusion, not hope.

      The Defense lawyers played her like a fiddle. The first thing taught in Trial Ad: jurors aren’t dumb. If she wants someone to yell at she should look in the mirror. Her attitude was an asset to the Defense.
