DEAN NUNEZ-NAVARRO

*UPDATE* Dean Nunez-Navarro PR Wire (7/5/23)

-‐——‐———————————————-

Former Broward ASA Tarlika Nunez-Navarro

Former 17th and 9th Circuit circuit court judge Tarlika Nunez-Navarro continues her outstanding career trajectory by becoming St. Thomas Law School’s new Dean.

We’re told Tarlika has accepted the position at her alma mater, and has reportedly resigned her judgeship in Orlando as of Friday. When contacted by text earlier today, Nunez-Navarro declined comment.

The move is a huge opportunity for Tarlika. As head of a private law school, a commensurate paycheck should go along with the job, in addition to tenure. We’re sure she will likely teach, as she has in the Orlando area, but as fundraising is typically a large part of a deanship, her undeniably powerful statewide relationships make her well-suited for the position, and point to an even brighter future.

All of this is still unconfirmed, so look for an official announcement soon.

WELL DONE!

It’s a stupid comment. The institution doesn’t want ambitious people. That means turnover. That’s why they have the bottomless pit of plastic trophies, plaques etc and the nice pension. They want them feeling important and staying put. That’s why they don’t put younger people on the Appeals courts/Supremes too. It makes them marketable.

I thought all retired Broward Judges end up in the boardrooms at Disney, Apple, Google, and General Motors.

Class act when compared to the garbage we’ve got sitting on the bench around here …

Good for her. Unlike the other wannabe fake young female judges, Tarlika was consistently present, consistently showing up and interacting with people and she is actually a genuinely nice person (unlike all of the bullshit fakeness I see on the daily…). She had a long term plan and stuck to her guns and got it done.

I’m personally very happy for her!

It’s not surprising. Being smart means being nice. Being stupid (and insecure) means being angry/mean all the time to cover it up.

Yes. Blackmon along with all of the other under 45 club. Just old enough to be insecure and young enough to still care what people think. They think they are smart and hot….while everyone sits and laughs at them from the sidelines.

Here’s hoping she can save the school from losing its ABA accreditation with those terrible bar passage rates.

You care. Obvious. Jealous. Shes at 350-400 per now. And you wear a bathrobe to work?

It does but it doesn’t matter. If she really gets tenure it’s like a lottery ticket.

She is nice and well spoken when rehearsed, but she’s not smart. Well, I take that back—she’s very smart. She has navigated her career elevations expertly. She’s just not book smart or competent. But nice, poised, politically genius: yes yes yes. I’m happy for her. I don’t mean the not smart thing as a dis. It’s just true and everyone knows it. But I’m inspired by her anyway. Genuinely.

There was an open Deanship I’m totally unqualified for and could’ve had like everything else and no one told me?

Her obnoxiousness and egomania was only outstripped by her incompetence. For crying out loud. She couldn’t move a chair so the accused could see a witness testifying. Where do they find such terrible jurists.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest lazy dimwits to ever sit as a judge in Broward or anywhere else! She finally crapped out without any fanfare just like she played hide and seek her entire career as judge.

I never got all the hype about her. She’s attractive and chatty, so she naturally charms people. But never saw her as very smart. I was surprised and yet not surprised when she got appointed. Then she moves to Orlando and quickly gets appointed to that circuit. She has a connection that keeps on working for her. I hope she takes this job more seriously than the last. Anyway, is she now moving to Miami? Maybe she will serve on the Dade county bench one day. She could be the first to serve in three counties. Or is this job just a stepping stone to Supreme Court Justice, the Florida AG, State attorney, governor? What next? She’s been a lawyer for 10 years… she’s got a lot more career to do.

That’s because she’s not that smart. She’s just another typical cow bell minority looking to get in on the affirmative action bandwagon

You can hide your racism behind being anonymous, but you are just jealous she has accomplished much more than you in her short career

Tarlika is a rising star. She’s on her way. They’re jealous. Dead enders. Maybe to become mediators chasing crumbs after the drudgery of slinging cases for a couple of decades. They all thought being a bench bum would make them happy. Ha. Now they’re trashing Tarlika. Sad sad sad.

The judges don’t give a damn about her and her career. She wasn’t a Broward judge long enough to even remember her. What’s interesting here is her constant career changes and how she keeps getting one coveted job after another. So therein lies the mystery.

And all those glamour shots. Who has the time to pose for all those photoshoots?? Could that be the key to her success? Note to self get some more photo shoots.

You sound like one of those jealous judges. Lol.
Sorry she was able to get a better job than you.

She couldn’t stand the petty bs so many judges in Broward were caught up in led by Tuter who she didn’t think much of either. It was no secret.

She’s skated about as far as she’s going to go on the Hispanic ticket.

If the State doesn’t like my ruling I can transfer this matter to the Tooty Room and you know what that means.

I don’t see how tooting my own horn could have led to a silly nickname like the Tooty Room.
