            I authored 1:34 and Yes, I fully support incarceration of people caught committing crimes.

            I say: don’t defund the police – defend them!

            Stand up the bullies who claim racism when people want offenders held accountable for their crimes.

            What Bill and others like him see when they look at blacks, are inferior people in need of special treatment. They are the true racists.

                    1:34 could be someone who enjoys privilege by race, background or position and is blinded to reality because of it. Throwing a name like Racist around isn’t productive unless all other analyses are explored and dismissed as unwarranted before. The real problem with Mass Incarceration and its root causes is because basically good people are otherwise blinded to reality by lack of experience/real world exposure or not self-aware ie not necessarily racist. There should be more dialogue and less name calling.

                      Turns out the IC defendants that day were charged with:
                      mostly violent offenses! (plus a few property crimes)

                      So there you have it – that explains why they look like a bunch of cockroaches

    In the month of December, we have gone from 42 reported covid cases to 114 in the Courthouse. That number excludes jurors, plaintiffs, defendants, private lawyers and other non-employees. Why isn’t anything being done by the court to keep us safe? Bring back masks like Dade did, at least!

      LOL, most if not all the cases were probably contracted outside the courthouse. The last 2 weeks of december you could have rolled a bowling ball downs all the halls and not hit anyone.

    I think the SAO is equal opportunity. White, Black.. Asian; there’s a lot of stupid rules we follow requiring some kind of old-school litigation “follow through”.. If charges are filed, however weak, we new guys need multiple people to agree to dropping charges & the rest. There is no SAO in Florida that treats its attorneys worse.
