—————————————————-

First stop this morning, Room 5750, Judge Kollra:

Out of nine IC’s, five are scratched …

We’ll update later as to whether or not in-custody Zoom dockets can be dedicated to Q cases in the afternoon, when movement deputies aren’t busy with the high volume of morning court transportation …

Chief has time to build a new courtroom. But not to raise money to staff the ZOOM? Why doesn’t he raise the donations?

Court Admin could put the GoFundMe on the 17th Circuit Facebook page. A good way to get the word out.

Most of the North Wing is basically empty every afternoon. It’s a real problem. There’s no oversight.

Judges have to actually work in Broward for this to have any traction. Broward Judges have gleefully been on vacation for the last year and a half.

I don’t know about any of the rest of you but I have never in my 30 plus years as a lawyer have never seen a judge work 8 hours a day five days a week. I’m not quite sure what all the bitching is about with the hours judges work, not to mention we have been in a pandemic for almost two years. Most of you need to get your nose out of everyone else’s business and worry about yourself.

I agree. Most judges don’t work a full day unless they are in trial. This is why so many attorneys want the job despite the crap pay.

Exactly…the pay might not be as much as you would make in a good firm but the benefits are fantastic. So hell yes alot of us would do it in a heartbeat.

Let’s face it, the very few people on here bitching about judges are low end lawyers barely getting by and I know one ran for judge a few times and got beat both times. So the bottom line it’s bitterness because they are NOVA grads that are ready to retire but can’t. They have down sized their office, sold vacation property and are still scrambling to make ends meet. The salary and benefits a judge gets would be a bundle to a person like that.

At least Sean had the balls to run. Most of you pussies just complain and do nothing to oust these trough suckers ! I voted for him and I’d vote for him again.

Low end to dead end job. Lol. Got news for you. Judges are low end too. Actually they’re the bottom of the barrel wage earners that couldn’t make it in private practice. They wind up hating the job and that’s why so many of them do as little as they can and turn into jerks with little man attitudes. Top of the class lawyers don’t seek a job as judges. Only government gophers with no talent and less ambition.

What do you think a lawyer does.,except for money. We defend rapists, child molesters, murderers you name it all while we know damn well they are guilty. We are no better then prostitutes, we sell our ethics and what we know is right for money.

I think that for many people that are already at the end of their career a judgeship is great. It’s not great for someone ambitious that still wants to do something- but for some it really makes sense to do it. A successful lawyer could not give up their pay for it. But someone that hasn’t been doing so great it isn’t a bad gig. Very little work.

Pryor fires Loe but keeps Satz and Marcus. We are tired of seeing them. Dump them too already.

Loe should have been fired long ago. Why he was allowed to stick around is anyone’s guess. Kudos to Pryor for cleaning out the nonessential loafer.

Pryor didn’t do shit but fire people for political favors!! There’s no criminal justice reform. There’s no new direction from his NEW staff. Just the same ole Satz cronies calling the shots!! This idiot doesn’t know how to read a statute let alone case law. You ALL were PLAYED!!

Where did you bet? Betting is illegal in Florida except for certain venues, such as Hard Rock. Are you admitting that you bet on a football game and lost?

Loe missed his chance a long time ago if he ever thought he’d occupy public office. As usual his timing was way off. If you’ve ever seen him in trial, you’d know what I’m talking about. Any self respecting jury always hated the guy. He’s the Bevis of Bevis and Butthead.

He probably thought the Courthouse would collapse without him. Sorry. Everyone is expendable. Including and most definitely the super mean people. They only stink up the place. Why would anyone go after some handicapper’s dog? Twisted. I hope he doesn’t put in for Nevarra. He’s exactly the type of cruel guy that Governor Trump loves. He’ll be bent on vengeance too. If he successfully gets his stubby short dude’s toe back in the mix.

Sean better be enjoying his over inflated salary for the next three years. Hope he’s putting it in savings because come Election Day he’ll be packing his shit just like Pryor will be.
