Jill Levy has slapped the cuffs on Mickey Rocque, after she said he failed to move on in his argument on behalf of a client after an objection was sustained two times, and after he was ordered to move on and admonished when he didn’t.

A direct criminal contempt hearing is ongoing at this time, with Ashley Kay arguing for Mickey’s release and a reset date in order to obtain and review the transcript.  Levy has refused to go that route, and the hearing is continuing as we speak …

    I think that just about sums up how Judge Levy feels about him. So what if some people think he’s annoying? He does fight hard for his clients and didn’t deserve to be held in contempt. I’m sure the transcript will become available shortly and it will speak for itself. He was actually very calm during all of it. He was laying a record and preserving issues for appeal. Judge Levy slapped cuffs on him AFTER he asked to disqualify her and she refused to give him time to file the motion. As of late, Judge Levy has been going after numerous defense attorneys in her courtroom. Not sure what’s going on…
