        Why is it so rough for you that Sean ran for judge? Did his $800k net worth in campaign financial docs anger you?

        He’s actually a pretty decent person .. Keep wallowing in your anger and envy – and it will eat you alive

            Sean Conway couldn’t couldn’t be elected as dog catcher around here. It was just a roll of the dice on his part. Switching races didn’t help him either. He didn’t campaign at all and remains an unknown in political circles.

          Sean F’d up by changing races and pretty much sealed his fate. Showed just how indecisive he is. That or he was listening the the wrong people. He looked like a wimp.

            Put some of his own 800k on the line – much like how he put his Bar license on the line taking on Judge Aleman

        Conway should have stayed in the PD race and he might have won. He was never judge material.

            That’s true. Conway was better pick than DePrimo. Put in through gov connect. Sean seems he’s a real independent. No firms etc like most of us that make$$.

        He needs professional help. He like the rest of Broward Judges get more than their fair share of rest. Once judges, its like their on vacation from work.

      Avalos is strictly County material at best and that’s only if the voting public doesn’t get a say.

    Deprimo is the real deal of non political and actually knowledgeable judges

    Broward sucks and our judiciary is finally taking a turn for judges that actually understand the law and not just the donation level of the attorney appearing before them. Shocking a republican governed didn’t appoint a hack like Avalos from a republican law firm

    She defines the old guard we need to move forward from

    Hopefully we get an equally qualified county judge as well…..

    Now we just need to implement judicial rotations

    Avalos is a little too old for Hooters, but she’d dance for the chance to get the job again. Not that she’d last for more than a single term. The benefits are better than what she’s getting now though.

    I haven’t been in front of DePrimo yet. When she was an ASA in Palm Beach, she was always good by me. I never had a problem with her and she was pretty reasonable. If she is the same on the bench, I’ll take that every day of the weed and twice on Sunday.
