The top floors of the Broward Central Courthouse remain closed to the public. One person described the issue as some type of “structural damage,” while another was more specific, stating it’s a large crack running through walls. At this point information is scant, and totally unconfirmed, but well worth investigating …

It doesn’t. It affects the entire building. Anyone with half a brain can figure that one out. If the top floors collapse what do you think would happen to the floors below them and the entire building. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.

Does Tony know what Chief Tuter meant about it affecting a beam? Does the beam make it more or less dangerous?

Broward Judges will use any excuse to kick out early. Reminds me of when they used to flush whole rolls of toilet paper to stage plumbing problems in the old courthouse ! Lol

Those sycophant BCBA people shouldn’t have used a jackhammer to hang Fearless Leader’s portrait.

So much for the brand new, structurally sound, non-hazardous courthouse that took years to build.

What I don’t understand is this! It seems all county construction jobs ie schools governmental buildings are done by the same contractors. The same ones that are at the black tie dinner parties and fund raisers and they some how always get the bids for these jobs.
Ok I understand that but, I don’t understand this the work is always faulty the work always has costs over run and it is always delayed.
But yet these contractors get the next bid award.
    How is that possible.
My up bringing is this. I give you job you don’t do job right you don’t get no more jobs. But not in Broward County.
    What a joke.
Coral Ridge Country Club is calling all participants. FOUR and I never Slice the Ball.

Well, they sure as hell closed it down for Covid for over 18 months. So you don’t think that a highrise building with possible Structural issues on the upper level floors is a little more serious than Covid. Seriously. I wonder if you actually work inside the courthouse.

Put me where I can feel the pillars that support the temple, so that I may lean against them until there is a cafeteria once more.

What’s the old Beach Boys song…. Good Vibrations,
that’s a perfect theme song for the courthouse.

The building was a scam from the beginning built over the objection of voters. They built it anyway and now its cracking apart. It was built with substandard materials and is about as good as the crappy leadership that built it.
