WEEKES V. MOON**

No, not Gordon Weekes. He’s the elected Public Defender.

And not Mariya Weekes, either. She’s already a popularly elected circuit court judge.

It’s Johnny Weekes, a twenty-two year veteran of the Bar, known around courthouse circles for never shying away from a jury trial, with more than a hundred of them under his belt.

Johnny’s running for Circuit Court Group 38, currently occupied by Stefanie Moon. Moon hasn’t filed yet, but assuming she does, there will be three Weekes’ to support in 2024.

Weekes (Johnny) says his paperwork should be showing on the Division of Elections website by the end of the week …

(** Moon has not yet filed for reelection, making Group 38 an open seat at this time)

Sure, ole chubby belly Stripclub Johnny can write on here how great he is, & claim he’s had 100s of jury trials (but w no record anywhere to prove it), but let’s hear from his clients:

Here’s one from Avvo (there are like a half dozen 1star reviews on there)

“Wish I could get my money back! 1.0 star
Posted by Suzanne February 2, 2014”

While I must say that John is usually available and always answers the phone, I must say the positive aspect of working with him ends there. My charges were not very serious and I had no prior record, it seemed when we went to court that he was unprepared and didn’t try very hard. I have friends who have multiple arrests and have had their Attorneys charge them less and get them off, I wish I would have asked for a referral!!!

Yeah, I realize nobody takes me seriously, and that I would love to have a stable Judge’s salary (look at my campaign financial documents to see I ain’t got shit),

And Hey! I might not know the law very well, but I can be a judge (assuming my name game thing works where I hope the black voters get confused by Gordon Weekes’ name being on there too), then I can FINALLY have a solid salary!

          Vote for me, guys!

I’m a joke – just hoping the name game thing works with other Weekes’es on the ballot.

When you make as much as I do, you can be as choosy as you want about your cases and you’ve got plenty of time to smell the flowers.

So funny how John gets on about having money, but that financial campaign document is finna be posted on here John!

Let’s take wagers on how much available $ the chubster has? He has to file that document & when he does, we’ll copy n paste it here.

Nah, from what I hear, the guy needs the judicial salary.

Who have we heard this self-inflated crap from before? Before the crash and burn that is.
The fact is that nobody would want the crappy job of judge in Broward unless you desperately needed the dough.
It’s easy enough to check the financials. 9 out of 10 are flat broke.

💯. She is a dishonest, incompetent imbecile. How many cases were overturned by the appellate court? A LOT. She sucks

Who says that county clown is retiring ? Not until the last taco is squeezed out of the last taco stand ! LOL

The entirety of the upcoming Chief Judge election should rise or fall on a public commitment from all candidates as to whether or not they would allow Judge Diaz, retired, to return as a Senior Judge. This has all the markings of a Lazarus, Stone, Pole type of so-called retirement. Therefore Circuit consolidation is on the horizon because of this type of behavior and it should be stopped.

Moon’s like Gundersen. All the other Judge’s may help spread the word because she isn’t popular. I mean like they did to Gundersen.

Johnny is a good man. Honest, Fair and possesses Integrity unlike so many other Broward Judges who come from the ranks of career government moochers that have never known what it’s like to do an honest’s days work. He’s made a name for himself for all of the above reasons. I’ve known him since before he got out of law school.

Moony’s a former AUSA I think. That’s probably the genesis of the haughty demeanor. I hope Weekes beats her or if he loses he at least teaches her some humility.

Wow Pryor is having a bad week/weeks. Pryor is just lucky Cure didn’t kill the cop. Can Pryor make any good decisions at all? What was he thinking exonerating this career criminal? Wtf?

So many options in circuit court. Moon is likely easily beatable but she does have a decent amount of supporters as well. De Primo is new in circuit and is disliked by pretty much everyone, so I would be shocked if someone didn’t run against her. Same with Marra although she has not created the enemies that De Primo has…not sure with recent appointments if either of them are up though? Gamm is weak along with Hilal. It will be interesting to see who comes out to run now that the pandemic is not playing a factor…

County clowns have infiltrated into circuit too. At least Liz is gone.

LIZ WOULDNT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO HANDLE BEING VOTED OUT OF OFFICE
      THATS WHY SHE PROBABLY RESIGNED
THAT AND SHE WAS WAY OVER HER HEAD FROM THE BEGINNING
SHE CAN THANK TOOTY FOR DOING HER THAT FAVOR

De Primo is up this year- that website has to be wrong…Marra I think is too!! Jesus it’s like Diaz, having to run an election right away.

      “SECTION 11. Vacancies.—
      (a) Whenever a vacancy occurs in a judicial office to which election for retention applies, the governor shall fill the vacancy by appointing for a term ending on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in January of the year following the next general election occurring at least one year after the date of appointment, one of not fewer than three persons nor more than six persons nominated by the appropriate judicial nominating commission.“

Yo, brother Pryor. U up there taking credit for freeing Cure. Wrongfully convicted you said. Exonerated, your words. Then we hear that you, our brother, are letting your people hide the evidence. Putting our brothers back in the cage that you are screaming you unlocked. You are a sinner. We have no respect

He’s probably tired of working so hard.
Why not retire to the bench if the bank acct is swollen enough.

9:15-10-45. Lunch. 1:45-3:00. Home by 4. Or the afternoons off. Like half the week nothing in the afternoon. Unlimited vacation time. Pension.

        Duh.

      2. 5

        4

Ha, the only thing “swollen” is Johnny’s belly!

The guy is fake, and a bs artist. Wait till he is required to file his financial document.

I will find it and post it on here once he does.

    2. 6

      2

Actually ole “Stripclub Johnny” ain’t got the funds he claims to have. Two divorces takes its toll.

Wait till the financial docs are filed as required for him to file. He talks a big talk, but when he isn’t out trying to hump his clients, he’s out begging for money.

      1. 3

        3

Why on earth do you think he’s broke? I have zero dog in this fight, but like, objectively speaking, it’s clear he has money.

        1. 3

          4

Uh, no. That’s WHY he’s running for judge, dumbass! He NEEDS the judicial salary.

Weekes doesn’t understand case law, lies about his trial record (and his wealth) cheats on both ex wives, and tries to hump his clients.

Hence, the need to become a Broward judge.

          1. 4

            1

It seems like Moon is in trouble and probably freaking out. Wether he needs the salary or not is irrelevant. He will win. The Weekes name will absolutely give him such an edge. It also helps that most lawyers don’t like her. At best he ends up a judge and at worst he doesn’t win but never has to appear in front of her again. Either way- it is $ well spent for him.

    1. 5

      3

I agree, Weekes as a judge?! He doesn’t know what he’s doing.

And running against a black female, that’s racist!
Looking forward to all the Broward blacks beating Weekes’ ass with all their race based voting!

Judge Moon is awful at her job. She doesn’t care about anybody except herself. Rude and dehumanizes people.

Nobody likes her: Not her fellow judges, none of the attorneys in Broward… Nobody.

What does a business litigator know about domestic violence? Stefanie Moon has been an assault against Broward County. Her nonchalant attitude as she devastates lives and families is so shocking. Her experiment as judge must come to an end!

      1. 14

        1

So let me get this right? If a white person runs against a person of color they are a racist? How about Moon is a nasty judge who treats people in her courtroom like shit! That’s why she got an opponent plain and simple. Always playing that race card.

        1. 5

          1

Yeah, give Johnny a break. He’s obviously hoping he can sneak his last name in there along w Gordon who is on the ballot and bank (literally ‘bank’, the guy barely can afford his 2 alimony pmts.), and bank on black voters thinking he be black like Gordon.

            WEEKES FOR THE WIN

            EASY PICKINGS

Everyone should be nervous. Most people up for re-election are beatable with the right opponent. Kaysia is going to make a comeback. She almost beat a very tenured judge- any of these nobody’s would be even easier. 💪🏿

                    “The complaint accused Earley of:
                    1. Soliciting donations through postcards and social media,
                    2. misrepresenting herself as a judge,
                    3. Posting an unauthorized endorsement, and filing inaccurate campaign reports.

Additionally, Earley claimed to be the most experienced attorney in Broward County.”

                    1. 3

                      0

Well, in her defense, Kaysia didn’t say WHAT she is the most experienced attorney in !

She is the most experienced at stealing shoes from her employers (yep, she was once arrested for that)

But I just LOVE that she went around actually misrepresenting herself as a judge!

                      What a dimwit.

Hah, Moon is black, plus it’s only J. Weaks whom nobody takes seriously
        Hence: no need to ‘freak’

Judge election is during the Aug. Primary, and
Black voters ONLY follow Dale Holness’ Palm card.

And sure as shit Stripclub Johnny ain’t finna be on Holness’ Palm card w a black female in that race.

        Nelson

        1. 5

          1

Is Holness still relevant? I don’t think so. You are so uninformed. Weekes doesn’t even have to campaign. Gordon Weekes is up. That will cause enough confusion. Most are going to vote for him and he will be in most palm cards. Even if Johnny loses- it will have been worth it to not have to appear in front of her. But I don’t think he loses. I think she is done and she knows it. The only chance she has is if a 3rd person jumps in- and even that doesn’t guarantee her the win. Maybe she will think before being so nasty to someone. Now she will have to spend all summer begging for votes. Lol

I wonder if all those Jewish elected officials who endorsed Pryor knows that he’s got an ASA who promotes Hamas terrorists and he refused to file charges against a person who beat up an elderly Jewish lady.

ITS BECOME A BATTLE FOR BROWARD AS THE BLACK VOTE THAT HAS BEEN FOR SO LONG DISCOUNTED NOW MAKES ITS VOICE HEARD
BEFORE THIS IT HAS BEEN DICTATED BY JEWISH CONDO COMMANDS WHO NOW FIND THEMSELVES TAKING A BACK SEAT TO EFFORTS TO TAKE ELECTED OFFICE

Yeah. Even the old guard knew it was coming and were not above schmoozing hard to make the transition. The only thing Mikey didn’t see coming was the loss of the CRUZ case and his ignominious defeat at the hands of a couple of PD bimbos.
