REJECTED!

Brenda’s quest to sit on the Florida Bar’s Board of Governors has failed.  Unbeknownst to us, she had applied to be a lawyer overseer on January 4th, after falsely complaining to the Bar about JAABLOG’s supposedly aggressive behavior, which was also claimed in her now discredited lawsuit.

Jack Thompson, one time blog foe and now friend, sent over the Dear Brenda letter pictured above, and we followed up today with the Bar’s PIO, who provided Forman’s redacted application, found here.  The Bar could not recall a Constitutional Officer ever applying for the Board of Governors over the last twelve years or so, but a thorough records check was not requested, and has not been done at this time.

As far as Brenda’s motives in wanting to participate in formulating and adopting matters of policy concerning the activities of the Bar, the application doesn’t mention whether or not JAABLOG played a role.  In any event, her written statement regarding “how important it is to stay on the honest and right side of the law” is welcome, given the mixed messages previously offered by Mark Speiser in her guardianship debacle, and her affidavits and assertions now wholly contradicted by video in Brenda v. Blog

The above photograph of shackled juveniles being led to court in the North Wing of the central courthouse was not taken years ago, when people like Vic Tobin and Peter Weinstein were campaigning hard for a new courthouse tower.  It was, in fact, taken this morning, and is representative of the still daily medieval display that the now built, expensive new courthouse was supposed to eliminate.

Given Jack Tuter’s recent plea in the DBR to “encourage anyone involved in the court system to give us input on changes we can make to be more efficient,” the following email was sent this afternoon to the chief judge:

” … I am requesting a meeting to give input on how we can address the shameful practice of parading shackled juveniles in the public hallways of the North Wing.”

Of course, since Tuter has blocked JAABLOG from sending emails directly to all judges after some embarrassing word snafus, the message bounced back, which is why it’s being posted here …

JQC v. KOLLRAhere is the Sun Sentinel on the most recent example of a Broward judge stepping in it.  It’s the “Is the rumored impending JQC action merely a campaign violation case?” that we mentioned back on December 5th.  And as far as Dennis Bailey’s proposed JQC settlement, there’s still no direction from the Supreme Court …

SS: Path to court for shackled Broward juveniles is shameful spectacle (2010)

” … When Broward County builds a new courthouse, the problem will be solved, (Tobin) said, because separate, private pathways for juveniles will be designed and built into it … “

By “embarrassing word snafu” you mean when Diaz was caught not being very honest about some hearing in front of him?

Lol ! Why would they want a fruitcake like Brenda Forman ? This weirdo has shown she’s unfit to hold any public office. Now she wants to sit on the Florida Bar’s of Governors ?

I see that Brenda has seven court cases which were not disclosed in her response to question 21 of the application. And she swore to the truthfulness of the application “under penalty of perjury.”

Howard was a big enough joke as Clerk of Courts in this political cesspool, but Brenda is some hokey from Penokey without a clue what she’s doing. I’ve worked in four different circuits, but Broward has got to be the most poorly run because of the level of incompetence of its elected idiots. That goes for our judges too.

I can’t believe they rejected my app. I’m as qualified to be on the Bar’s Board of Governers as I am to be Clerk of Courts …

No education, no experience and no know how. Any wonder the clerks offices is a catastrophic mess ? Its a no brainer. Even a moron can figure it out. We’ve got a moron at the helm.

Looks like another one of Bobbie’s little schemes has failed. Can’t figure which one is the dumbest, Lit’l Bobbie or Brenda.
Lit’l Bobbie should stick to Tacos and leave the big decisions to the Big Pops.

I was robbed by the establishment.

After I paid all that money to Holness… robbed by a cheating judge. There is no justice.

Its not like he’s the first Broward judge to play dirty politics and then hope to weather the storm afterwards. As long as they get away with it in the end, nothing changes around here. We continue to have the most poorly performing judges in the state in Broward with a clown of a Chief Judge who makes lame excuses for the lack of quality judges on the bench.

Not dirty politics. When you are out there campaigning for judge it’s not uncommon for everyone to step in and point out slight missteps to each other. These weren’t exactly slight but weren’t the end of the world in my opinion. There are many states where the judicial races are partisan races.

I hesitated to comment but the reports I have seen on Broward Beat and Sun Sentinel have not been great. If true, they would likely require a more thoughtful analysis by the JQC then the no brainer violations of Judge Kolra.

There may have been more than one reason Jackie didn’t want to have to testify on behalf of Brenda Forman before Brenda decided to drop the ball on Forman vs. Blog.
Sounds like we may have a couple of more newbie punk broward judges lookin for cover.
Beef jerky may not be off the menu.

Just my opinion, but I surmise that the Bar doesnt want anything to do with Brenda Forman with her past bogus suits concerning her former husband Howard Forman, although she did not list them on her application.
Judge Speiser found her to have filed her suit to grab her former husband’s financial assets to be in Bad Faith. She’s obviously getting some input from Diaz. He’s failed in the past to assert influence with the Bar, but still trying to get someone on the inside if I had to guess.
He’s never stopped playing tinker bell since he was suspended from the bench, fined fifteen grand as a Broward judge and required to write letters of apology to Former Judge Seidman and the Hispanic Bar Association for his debut with the Judicial Qualifications Committee Discipline Actions some years ago.

Some old dogs don’t know when to lay down. He’s one of them.
The sooner this old dog retires from the bench, the better for the citizens of Broward.

Do any criminal defense attorneys even provide competent representation to their clients these days, or are they too busy ogling and googling at the young tits and ass Mike Satz hires to bounce and flounce around the courtroom? (Hmm…and you all wonder why there’s a bunch of young women in the homicide unit).
Mike Satz: Genius with a Penis*
*Shout out to Prosecutor Hanowitz for not only authoring a children’s book on sexual abuse with an extremely confusing title, but also avoiding prosecution AND keeping her job after committing a crime for which most African American youth are liberally doled out prison time. What a bunch of winners. Good thing we have Brenda Forman as a voice of reason.

Brenda Forman doesn’t get tossed another bone … lol
They’ve caught onto her hype and ain’t buying, unlike voters when she ran using her married name of Forman before the divorce and after she tried to grab her hubby’s assets.
Prediction: She loses the big bone in 2020.

If it hadn’t been for that bad driver I ran into and the bottle of booze in my front seat, as a Broward Judge I would have gotten away with it. But I prefer working as a Public Defender now protecting citizens from those bad cops we have here anyway. The only bad part is I’m under the Fink’s thumb.

Bailey is about as big a bombastic twit as they come. Couldn’t make it in private practice with his equally as stupid sidekick Toady Loe. Does he really think anybody falls for his all too serious facial expressions? Ive seen better interpretations of a phoney baloney politician on Saturday Night Live.
So now he’s getting kicked in the teeth by way of a public reprimand? They wont fall for his overly pedantic demeanor either.
Why do they always aspire to the bench, besides the money and financial security? Good enough reasons for a loser at anything else.

Some are a little more difficult to sell than others, but who said being Chief Judge of a circuit like this one was going to be easy. I just block the email addresses of anyone with suggestions that may lead to some sort of answers.

Can anybody tell me why Judge Henning would decline a case in complex civil and THEN after declining the case, without any jurisdiction over the case, sua sponte order my client, a Haitian American youth, to be transferred to state prison (while his civil case is pending and ready for trial)-making it next to impossible to provide effective assistance of counsel and violating my Haitian American youth client his numerous other cherished constitutional rights.

White defendants vs. black plaintiff. Clearly Judge Henning ordered according to her upbringing and experience. Many psychologists would argue that this is completely normal behavior that she would rule based on her experience and interactions in life.
Judge Henning-too old to appreciate that blacks are no longer considered slaves. Somebody needs to remind her that it was a long time ago that it was established that whites, blacks, and causasions are all equal.

Hmmm..apparently mother hen ain’t so much of a mother hen as she is a racist hen. Jesus Christ, Henning get with the times. Good lord we ain’t in the time of slavery.

AOC is nothing more than a distraction entertained by voters in our country that would rather live in la la land than pay attention to the real issues. Just like Trump with his obsession of immigration laws and the “wall”.
